the wife just got back from a one-day special circuit meeting (or whatever they call it) at the regional assembly hall.
it's got a capacity of about 1,200, fully paid for, staffed by volunteers and in use for less than eight hours.
then the guy making the announcement tells the crowd that the one-day expenses for the gig was about $6,600 (?!!!)...
I have a question? how do they know exactly how much the water bill is for? doesnt the electric company have to send you a bill? same for the gas? how can they generate a bill that quickly in matter of hours? I think there just throughing numbers out there. I have never ever donated anything at all to any assembly and kingdom halls growing up.

what's funny is that instead of them wts telling the mexican bro's to becareful and give them encourgement they just give them orders to keep with the studies and preaching work. no sympathy at all.

yes, it saying that all brother and sisters need to stay home and still conduct there meetings all at home and on top of that to also conduct the family study. and to continue the preaching work via, email, phone, and also to contuct there bible studies with the new ones at home. also that the regular pioneers their assignments have been suspended.
geesh.. i can imagine how all jw's are really now saying the end is upon us.....

oh i cant believe it is that long ago.. her & joy used to be a couple of my favorites,,, ( i have many) .
Hi, Mary, Grace, omg i'm so glad i'm able to talk to your girls. you guys really have helped me tremendoulsy. and once i finished reading the book i have pased it on to my coworkers here at work. they were very curious about JW'S. so i gues im passing the buck along. I'm so glad that i made the right decision in not returning back to the KH. I spoke to my husband about it and he was happy to hear how i felt. (poor guy i was trying to convert him)you know after reading the book i felt this great release of guilt that i had on my shoulders for the past 16 years of be df'd. now im starting to live my life with out stress on my mind.
I have been lurking here from month reading and following your posts and it made me feel right even though I dont know you well. but I know now that i have friends here.

when i was in bethel, i lived for awhile in 119 columbia heights.
its one of the brownstones across the street from the 124 building.
it has no street level entrance.. anyway, underneath that building is a parking garage.
i bet you that if some one from the congo needed help paying their rent or help buying food they won't give up one dime, but they expect dontated cars from the congo.. get the heck outta here. that is just not right.......but yet they are tax free i could imagine how much money they have hidden somewhere.

Thank you everyone for welcoming me. I think the only way I was able to get through it was because of my husband (which was the reason why i got df'd when i was 16 )and his family they are hard core catholics and have shown me what real family is about and love. more then what my mother did growning up. it has been a very hard 16 years trying to let go of all the borg up bringing out of me but one thing for sure my two children will never ever be brought up like i did. hughs and kisses to all.....

hi, everyone i'm new to this form but i have been lurking on here for the past 6 months. I just wanted to thank everyone for opening my eyes and not having that guilty feeling that i have been carrying around for the past 16 years ever since i got df'd back when i was just a teenager I was born in borg. For making me do research and for also reading COC book (thanks to a special person that posts on here sent me a copy of the book) of course after i tracked her email down. At first i was very angery with this form and i couldn't accept what i was reading but the more i read the more i questioned things and one day i said to my self this all make sense now. Now i know why they say in the KH not to go on the intranet and not to listen to other people but now i see why the real truth is out there ex-jw's are talking about what they know. I haven't spoken to my JW family in over 16 years they are very active JW ( more like fakes people that worry about their apprence) but i have learned to live with out them and i try to keep my children away from them and way of thinking. I dont want them to grow up like i did.
but anyways I wanted to say hello and i have enjoyed everyones posts and debates on here i have alot of more reading and research.
