I couldn't be happier, their view are extremist, and they want freedoms but aren't willing to put their asses on the line for it. their blood doctrines is reason enough to ban them. Good for the Russian Supreme Court.

What if.... the JW's didn't have to turn in service reports?
by dissed inwhen i was a youngin at bethel in the 70's, a bethel elder mentioned to our crew that they were discussing the possibility of ending service reports.
he wanted to know our thoughts and how could the elders and the wts monitor the preaching work if they changed the service reporting?
would the work go down without the monitoring?.

If one thinks about it, If no time was required to be turned in, many wouldn't be going out at all and only haphazzardly at that. When that happened then the $$$ going to the crooks in crooklyn would really start drying up. No one would want to pay for (er....I mean donate for) the mags, books, cds. etc.,The drop in reveneus would cause very serious harm to them borg and eventually lead to their drying up also. That in my opinion is why they push hours and field service not, because of any alturistic feelings they may have for anyone.

I couldn't agree more, that is a reason i quit helping one particular sister, all we ever heard from aiding her was that, "Jehovah provided I am so gratefull to Jehovah" so i told her the last time she asked for aid, that no you say Jehovah will provide well learn to wait on him until he provides and I left it at that, needless to say, "help" wasn't fortcoming from anyone especially Jehovah. She had to get herself out of the fix for a change and of course "J" provided. What horse pucky.

jesus' time on the earth
by ssn587 inwas thinking about this for a bit, if a day to yahweh is a 1000 years, then what jesus actually gave up to come down here with mankind was about 40 minutes, so whats the big deal, we all have done things we don't like for 40 minutes.
so just how big a sacrifice was it for someone who knows his typical day is a 1000 years to spend 40 minutes being pushed around?.

I revised the time on earth for jesus, to 45 minutes in the context of a day to god. his ministry 4.9 minutes his being tortured prior to dying, 22/100 of a second, his time in the grave 66/100 of a second. Oh sure he care so much about mankind we wouldn't have an hour of his time here upon the earth. Now that would have made a large impression. Then we could actually separate the fact from the finction.
