  Anwar Al-Awlaki and due process any thoughts?

  recently anwar al-awlaki was killed by the u.s. government.

  he was a u.s. citizen, and no due process was given, he was just killed outright, no arrest, no trial, no court.. any thoughts?.

  my "worldly" uncle is visiting our area and staying with my jw parents.

  my siblings live in various parts of my parent's house as well (they are adults, just want cheap rent).

  Your Uncle if he is perceptive at all, is already in it, embarass your sister don't let her give any of the vile nonsense from the witnesses to him, and it will show him just how ridiculous these people really are.

  i posted a while back about my uncle.

  he was diagnosed with prostate cancer over a year ago.

  it metasised - infected the bladder, ureathra, colon and finally got into the nervous system.

  I know what you mean, I had to watch for 1 1/2 days while my wife was dying, its horrible to watch and i didn't give up hope until the end, and then it became even more horrible that it had previously been. I am still grieving and probably will until my end.

  a key factor is that the witnesses really believe that the bible is gods word and that what it contains is there for our instruction.

  If in fact the Bible actaully expained itself i.e. symbology, beliefs, doctrine, then there would be do doubt of how it was suppose to be and all religions woudl be following that, The Bible however doesn't explain itself and to think it does, isn't dealing with reality. you are just pushing the jdub nonsense and you cant nor will you thin of anything else. To explain otherwise would be a waste of effort.

  I for myself think it is inhumane to have tax payers support those on death row, or even those in prison, why should we as a society have to have money taken from us to support those who have taken from us? To me it just doesn't make sense to have part of the taxes i pay to help support those in prison that means i am being punished for something I didn't do, and its taken from me/us to support those who commit crimes. I have no sympathy for them at all. You murder, steal, maim, whatever then you don't deserve a damn thing from those of us still out here in society.

  i looked out the window and saw a car that belongs to a jw couple who have come to see my dad.. i decided it was time for another cup of tea .

  no response!

  i made myself a cup of tea, and realised there were two cups just brewing, so i called into the living room: "dad are these drinks for **** and ****?

  I don't have them in mine, they don't really care about you as a person they care about you adding to the numbers at the meeting. You can see the non-love when tragedy strikes you, they seem to disappear and after awhile they don't even answer your phone calls which is so ltypical they think support is saying hi at a meeting. They are so delusional in their lack of thought process. They have given up thinking for themselves unless of course they want something from you.

  'what u proffess is what god annoints, "what u declare is what god makes clear, what u express is what u will experience.

  It's all BS the way the jdubs try to show it, the Bible doesn't have scriptures for the anointed and ones for the non-anointed, its all a smoke screen for the GB and the society at large. There is no such thing as a separate anointed and the rest of the flock. It's just a type of control mechanism put out by the witnesses. Kind of like their elders being anointed by HS and of course we all know that HS appoints pedophiles and thives as elders. What a load of BS put out by them, just another means of control.

  That was heart warming, and definitely brings a tear to the eye, it however wasn't the homecoming we received when we came home from Vietnam, I returned home from there 4 times and always it seemed that others wanted to denigrate us. Many of us were filled with hate for those of the hippie generation and nothing will ever make up for the reception we didn't receive or the thanks we never got, or the hate filled spite of many who seen us in uniform as we made are way home.
