It several congregations I attended, there were some who were on welfare and at the same time pioneering, they were in my estimation no good lazy asses who could have been working, and yet they were living off the tax payers while out preaching their nonsense about and for the society and thought at the same time they should be looked up to because they were pioneering. despicable people to say the least.

i at one time had memorized that verse and voiced it out loud inn a van full of dubs an almost immediately was told it was an apostate thinking. when i mentioned luke 21:8 and asked them to read it a ms with us did out loud, afterwards you could have heard a pin drop, they were all silent afterwards. the up shot was that 3 of the people in that van are no longer dubs, possibly they realized it was pertaining to them.

as i have said many times, i did not really study jw teachings in depth until i went to prison.. i had a period from 1959 to 1967 when i---sort of----could explain things to a shallow depth.

once i entered that profound place in my head (while in federal prison) when everything got serious.....i entered a secret room, so to speak, where.

all the mysteries were hidden!.

it was my exprience that most dubs jut click off their intellectual side and just sponge up the bs the gb handout, then gets that sponge wrung out and they arent capable of even explaining what has been fed to them. deep down in their minds their subconscious must know its all bs so the sub mind doesnt let them recall it clearly as a means of self protection. just my 2 cents..

what happened to you was terrible, but seeing you used as a tool for a political agenda is like watching you get raped without knowing it.

we believe guns hurt and killed people you care about, but we also belileve these people had mental illness.

I am always amazed at how quickly people on here are quick to swlip into the jdub mind set and name call either openly or implied when others dont agree with them. The thing about background c thecks, is imo amisnomer, you can't buy a gun without a background check. The talk from the administration about having to have them is nonsense, background checks exist and are used, however, they can't precieve what is in somone's mind. The talk about loop holes like gun shows is also nonsense, background checks are also done there, go to one and see, you cant buy one without it. I have been to many of them in multiple states and always background checks were done.

If we call people gun nuts because they like to have them, for hunting plinking or target shooting then really what kind of nut are you. I personally go hunting and yet I don't shoot animals because I don't shoot what I wont eat. I just like to go. I like to use mine for plinking, and self defense. They are a part of the American culture, if you impose on those who own them, then what is next. If one is so concerned about gun violence, then look for those articles in papers or on MSNBC, CBS, NBC, CNN etc that report on instances when having a gun saved someone's life, prevented crime being inacted etc. Yet you won't see them there. In another vein, mass shooting have almost without exception have happened in gun free zones, zones where the crimes can be accomplished without fear of interferenfce from someone carrying a concealed weapon. If one is so concerned about the mass shootings then make sure that gun free zones dont exist.

Better yet, why arent all concerned about the deaths in hospitals, many thousands of people die in hospitals due to errors etc., yet the administration isnt concerned about that. alcohol related deaths, traffic deaths. Maybe that doesn't come on their radar because it can't be politically used to take advantage of the American public.

I need some serious advice...

i'm almost a year out of high school and of course, i'm not in college.

i'm a pioneer (sigh) with little to no work experience and having a really hard time finding any work.

i want to go back to college, but it's going to be difficult now that i'm a pioneer, and my parents cannot really afford the loans that will incur should i pursue going to college.
