I had seen them in malls out west where there are signs against soliciting and distributing literature, and have seen dubs in there holding up their mags but not talking to anyone or even trying to. I approached and asked them what they were doing and they replied their witnessing work, by just holding up the signs and letting people see them and not approaching them in any way they were performing a witness for Jehover. Two of them were sitting in the food court and having mags proped up on their table and just eating and drinking thier food and when asked they too mentioned that they were witnessing to jehover just by being there and people seeing the literature and knowing who they were. So I told them why don't you go out in you vehicle drive up the Highway for 1 to 2 hours then drive back and all the while having a mag proper up in the front and back windows and then they would be in their terms witnessing for jehover. They looked at me like i was nuts. Me I wondered what the hell the difference would be???

yes i did talk to people about the "truth" but not in favourable terms.. has anyone simply stated, "i have not been in service this month"?

3 mos and counting that is not turning in time, when asked told elder smelder that I don't recall signing any contract that says I will do X amount of time in the service, nor do I see anything in the bible that equates with one having to turn in time. Time cards are a game, and i don't play games with my spirituality. he just sort of gave a sick smile and walked away so they haven't bothered me anymore.

Have you realized bible teaches judgement based on THIS life, no 'free' 2nd chance?
by EndofMysteries inmost of us been taught that those who 'die' before gt, get a free clean slate in resurrection, in essence, they can do anything they want now, but those who are unlucky to be alive during the gt better have it right or too late.
read every scripture speaking about the gt and the resurrection, and i can't find any that support that.
seems all die, and in the day of judgement, are raised up to be judged according to what you did while alive.

EOM couldn't agree more with you, however the Wt doesn't want you to think that because it would mess up their thugology and control factor for the subserviant.They constantly twist scripture to fit their wants and needs i'st all about $$$ and control.

Fertilizer and Watch Tower Literature

to the truly brain washed, it provides a fertilizer affect don't you think?
it wouldn't even be the proper food for a worm, or insect.

Do to all the nonsense or rather BS in the Watch Tower Literature, it makes one wonder if it could be used to fertilize your garden, or perhaps not though because it is also full of weeds. To the truly brain washed, it provides a fertilizer affect don't you think? It wouldn't even be the proper food for a worm, or insect. It would work well in an old folks home as it would constantly bore them silly and they would all be falling sleep almost constantly just like all real thinking people do while at the meetings. Just zone out.

"Armageddon is Weeks Away" Phrase...Is WT pushing this phrase more recently?
by mentallyfree31 ini'm wondering if this phrase is perhaps being pushed recently in letters to the elders or circuit overseers.
i have heard it a time or two here in the last few days on the forum - specifically from a bethelite.. also, the last conversation i had with my presiding overseer about 5 weeks ago, he used this exaxt phrase: "i believe armageddon is only weeks away".. i know its been right around the corner for 130 years, but it seems this exact phrase seems to be floating around a lot lately.. what are your thoughts?

IMO it is the overwhelming stench of the BS coming from their talks, DC's SAD's etc. their theo school, just the hall itself. That stench is overpowering and cause untold harm to those exposed to it.
The fawning of the elders over the visit of the CO the DO their brown lips and noses after the visit highlight their obvious inclination to suck up to them.
The stench is just overpowering in my estimation.
