Late 50s and early 60s isn't very old. Some GB members lived into their 90s.
Can you see 30 more years of the status quo? Thirty years of holding the untenable line
that the end will come "soon", that the end is "imminent"? The current GB is really stuck
as another poster said. They're stuck in the nonsense that Rutherford and F. Franz developed
as doctrine.
It is true that the current hard line of "believe in us or you're dead at Armageddon" is
emphasized more and more, and for some of us this points to a desperate attempt to
keep their power over the R&F. But can they continue this for 30 years?
This one point is the "first domino", if it gets toppled other dominoes of the WT ideology
will come crashing behind.

So that there's no doubt about it, today's daily text is Matt. 24:45.
The comment highlights that because Jesus "did not say that there would be a multitude of slaves scattered throughout the various sects of Christendom. Instead, he clearly stated that there would be only one “steward,” or “slave,” whom he would appoint over all his belongings."
Jesus didn't say that there would be a religious publishing corporation either.
Anyway it goes on to assert that... "So as The Watchtower has often explained, the steward must represent the “little flock” of anointed disciples as a collective body, or group."
Isn't it amazing how the suppositions and assumptions of statements found in
WT publications can be so boldly, and brazenly, affirmed? This despite the fact
that there is absolutely no proof in the scriptures put forth to support their claims?
What today's text highlights is really the Governing Body's lack of shame in bragging
about themselves and making sure the "individuals" who might claim an anointing
kow-tow to their kooky doctrine. As lording it over Christ's sheep, they've become
an evil slave who mistreats the Lord's belongings.

many of the posts have nothing to do with with jehovah's witnesses and new ones coming on this board would be turned off by the content of many of these off color posts.
foul inappropriate language which is not proper or suitable for exiting witnesses to visibly inspect.

with you as a reminder of how slanted and
biased the NWT "New World Translation"
really is. The KIT is published by the WTS.If you carry the KIT you're letting others

also, i don't think it's out of the ordinary that mary was concerned about going to the bathroom in the kingdom hall.. remember, the elder at bethel who was arrested because he took pictures of people using the bathroom?
that was hard to believe but it was absolutely true.

The Johnny "cant leave the org" or his family gets DF is just too much to believe.
It doesn't sound like a Witness would ever say anything like that. If the WTS ever
did do such a thing it would spread like gangrene and publishers would lose trust
in Mamma WT. No, it just doesn't make sense.

as most people seem to have worked out the private discussion and support part of the forum is not private beyond requiring a username.. today nugget and cantleave are having printouts of their posts in this section being used in evidence at their jc.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/members/private/204436/1/nugget-and-cantleave-are-no-longer-jehovahs-witnesses.
my suggestion is, if its possible, to create an invite-only section of the board for truly private support.. .

I don't like the idea of a little clique forming where only some are invited and others not.
If people want that kind of forum they can always start their own elsewhere.
JWN isn't FaceBook and it shouldn't become one.
I'd rather see a chat implemented where the
live help (not available) feature appears at the top right of this page.
A realtime chat would be a nice feature to add, people could use it for
getting help, counselling, or just venting. The chat wouldn't be archived
unless you cut and pasted to a text editor, that is the forum software
wouldn't keep track of the chat discussion, it would only be for realtime,
live, in the moment.

Insulting those who feel defrauded
Those who whisper these 'woes' are likened to those murmurers of Israel during the Exodus from Egypt! Foolishly they wished to return to Egypt
With that point the WTS insults those who grew up in the organization, were faithful to the counsel, didn't pursue higher education but rather pioneered right out of highschool, auxiliaried during highschool and especially during Summer vacations, got a part time job only so as to do more in service, said no to getting married, said no to having a family and no to raising children so as to pioneer, gave hours upon hours of service time, placing publications that within a few years contained "old light," gave their best during the "strenght of youth" for the benefit and growth of the Society's organization... in other words, people like me.
I feel insulted, mostly for the disregard of all the work I've devoted to an uncaring and unappreciative organization which calls me foolish for "wishing to return to Egypt" and for "murmuring." Well, I was never in Egypt, neither the allegorically referenced place nor the real country in the Middle East by that name.
I was never in Egypt. I was always in the "Shadow of the mighty crag (butt crack)" of the Society's organization, and now feel "shat" on.
These insulting men take away my years of service, nullifying the sacrifice it took to accomplish pioneering at a young age, and my continued effort and faithfulness through hard times. These men are unappreciative bullies who want you to do for them. Uncaring task-masters who lash out with tongue and pen to scourge those who feeling downtrodden and exhausted now cry out, no, not really cry out but rather dare whimper a murmur of discontent towards coercion and manipulations that this selfish Society uses to obtain compliance and obedience at all costs from the subjugated and oppressed masses that fell into their snare and believed the lie of life in an Eartly Paradise, a paradisaical neverland, a dream that never materialized as promised, "before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away."
Insulting and ungrateful men! Living lives of luxury at the expense of the poor fools they've tyrannized.
