I hope so but i doubt it. I know she shouldnt be sending them. thr worldling isnt as wise.

My witness mum sent a birthday card.
by creativhoney inwell if there is a congregation contest for shunning i am sure my family will win.. only my mother has been friends with a worldy for as long as i remember.
- the lady in question has terminal cancer and so its a good reason for my mum to be a good christian friend.. mums friend is also mine though i am dfd she never took sides, until now its been a year and she didnt think my mother would be capable of carrying out the shuning to this extent.
- she has lost a lot of respect for her.. today mums friend (and mine) phoned me, i asked what she had been up to how she was.

by Open mind injust had a brain fart and i don't think i'll actually try this, but see what you think.. .
i made myself a promise that i was done serving on jcs roughly 2 years ago.
and, with the exception of a rubber stamp reinstatement charade, i've kept that promise.

Im sorry to be so vehementbut if you have the opp to be on a JC you are an elder and its people like you that people like my mum trust in.. masquerading, but not believing, and she doesnt speak to me. if you dont believe and you dont want to lose your family, fine. but sit in the sidelines. to preside over others with a skeptical view is just pharasical and it makes me sick.

my sister has recently outed.
a couple of months ago she was getting fed up of living with a 'sister' in her 60s who imposed rules and regulations on her - my sister is 30 and doesnt need a woman who isnt her mother setting rules for her and playing the 'truth' card as a landlady.. my sister got fed up and decided she wanted to move out.

today mums friend (and mine) phoned me, I asked what she had been up to how she was. - she said she had been celebrating the big 50.
she said she recieved a moonpig card from my mum saying you know I dont celebrate birthdays but I feel I must acknowledge this milestone in your life...
no matter how you put it she acknowledged Anns Bday with a card. - if she can do that why does she shun me?
It hurt me a lot.
