Ill keep you posted on our fun antics heheh. - the best thing is it will stop me getting too involved again with an ex who has started coming round again, he was th love of my life but doomed to failure because i was me on a plate - available always. - i used to let him stay and have his own room, just so he would stay... it will keep me on the straight and narrow and dispel some of the sadness and loneliness I have felt over the prevous year and a half.

My sister escapes, and is moving in with me...
by creativhoney inwell, i'm really happy to say that my sister has seen sense and exited.
she has decided not to go to the elders and have a judical because as she sees it, they have nothing over her and she does not need to answer them.. my family are very good at the ignoring.

thank you all. sending my mum anything wouldnt make a difference, she is more stubborn than believing - but my nephews and nieces may be worked upon, especially since they arent baptized, so the more of my family on our side, the more reason for my mother to rethink her actions.
and yes - awesome idea about them having nothing on her - I like her style I wish Id thought of it - although the peace is good I have to admit, no elders phoning and trying to reindoctrinate me.

What is it with men?...
by highdose inthis is a responce to john does "what is it with women" post.
i'd like to point out that men do even more irrating and inexplicable things than women.... 1) not wanting to ask for directions.
2) getting a kick out of seeing people blown up in movies.

my family are very good at the ignoring. - they have completely and utterly cut me off. the other day my sister went to my mother to try and tell her why she was leaving and my mum just said 'I dont want to know' - how bad is that and where is the principle in it? if they are so vehement about cutting me off because Im a wrongdoer, why do they refuse my sisters confession?
my family are so OTT that even my nephews and nieces who are adults and married and quite wishy washy in the 'truth' ie not baptized, have also shunned me. (but they are all under the control of my mum) - they tell my sister they miss me. - I am glad for her she is in that position, because maybe she can be a positive influence.
she is coming to live with me, after the elders telling her in the past it was better to live with worldlys than me, shes been out a couple of months now and is finally leaving behind the string of bad people she has had to live with.
it all seems so backward, I struggle to make sense of it, but I am so excited to have my sister with me again.

Are Jehovah's Witness men good catches?
by garyneal ini've stated this before on this message board but i was kind of curious about this and wanted to get some feedback from the group.
in particular, the ladies who are either current or former jw's.. about a year or so ago, my wife went with me to a church i was attending at the time.
we then later that morning attended a kh meeting.

@gary, my friend is dating a non witness and she has left but says its definitely the truth despite coming to my mates halloween party and putting a tree up this year. - I hate the people who say you know its right and you should believe it while wearing their halloween devil horns. - she always says once she gets married and 'puts her life straight' she will try and get back. - utter hypocrisy. and then she will try and change the man she met? - you cant enter into a relationship and become someone else, its just really unfair. - I agree with you, do it or dont. - or maybe some poeple find it really hard because of familiies and I sympathise with this, but I dont with the people who pretend to be all spiritual and then they arent.

I've Got An Idea: Sue An Elder!
by minimus ini honestly think that if individual elders thought they personally might get sued, they would back off from talking to you or trying to hunt you down.
i know i always was nervous that i'd havv=e to hire a lawyer and pay $$$ out of my own pocket.. what do you think?
might that not discourage elders from violating your rights or harrassing you?

my last BF was 12 years younger. but didnt look it, kind of young man thats gruff and hairy lol. but its too young because he didnt want to be tied down. broke my heart, we had six months apart and but Im so glad I gained perspective, we are friends again now, and I can just appreciate him for who he is. - upshot for me, someone around my age, similar interests, and a bit on the wild side. :)

FORGETTING for a minute that according to Deut 1:17, Judgement belongs to God..
at my 'judicial' - I was told that I was lucky that for the law of the land because in bible times fornicators were executed.
at this stage in my life, my entire answer throughout my judicial was basically I dont care.
