one time i bought a huge roll of it for shipping christman presents. i was about to wrap them and popped one, then another, then my son came in 'cause he heard the commotion and started popping them, and before you know it we had popped all of the bubbles. we wrapped the presents in the deflated wrap and mailed them out, heehee.

was this a real person, even? i mean, when you read things like "forgo my secular education" and read about support from others that would be absent if "not serving jehovah", it just sounds like one big admonishment to "be good". there's so much deception in the wts, nothing would surprise me. they love to stress that, how helpless we would be without the society behind us. made me the neurotic i am today
this man's being there for 65 years reminds me of the night i went to the kh. there was a really old guy who came up to give a talk and he fumbled his words and frankly seemed senile but my son and i listened respectfully, while all around us people were snickering and whispering together. after the meeting, on the ride home, my sister, her husband and my niece joked about his mannerisms and how old he was and repeated his words in an old person voice, etc. it was embarrassing. my son was sad that they could be so mean he thought they above anyone would be nice people. i just told him they were dickweeds then he laughed.

ooh, you bad girl, you . that whole 'kitten with a whip' thing was ann-margaret's claim to fame.... she's older now but still a hottie, don'tcha think? the same can be said for raquel welch, but she lacked ann's playfulness that was her most charming quality... (not to mention that red hair, oh...)

celebrating holidays: christmas, thanksgiving, fourth of july (fireworks), new year's, etc.
celebrating my birthday and the birthdays of my loved ones
not having to go out in service when it's 110 out, or studying that #$@!^&*^ watchtower, or going to book studies
exploring alternative religions or mystical/pagan stuff
dressing however i want, saying what i really feel
watching or reading r- (or x-) rated films or materials
sex
freedom from guilt, shame, fear of armageddon and demons, etc.
ooh i forgot: saying "bless you" when someone sneezes. or saying "good luck". it's a little thing, but they made it such a BIG thing.
not saying grace in public!!!
