My husband seemed a bit concerned when he saw me on here as well but I would openly read out loud some of the funny threads and then slip in a few of the more deep threads. He now asks we what's going on the forum. Who knows he may even post one day.

to have them in our house .my husband was not happy to hear it will be two brothers coming over, because he really does not want to feel we are being counseled .

My husband sounds a little like yours...I think it's easier for me to speak up. For him, as he said it was drilled in him since a young age to respect the elders no matter what!! His mother is quite a fanatic.
I have to remind him by telling him..What have they done for us in our most desperate of times? Do they pay our bills? Do they sign your pay check? Have they showed us any form of love? Of course he knows they have done nothing for us but he still clams up at times I wish he would attack!! LOL. I guess that's why we compliment each other because where he clams up I speak out..Loudly at times. It's something I love about him at times and really dislike about him at times. I'm sure he feels the same about me.
if one sends a message via facebook that might also include a picture, is it possible for the receiver to trace where the message came from?
obviously, they know it came from facebook username soandso, but do they have any way to know (perhaps via some tags on the image) where the message really came from (ip address, location, etc.
)?.
It's the information age..nothing is safe! If someone wants to find you bad enough they will
witnesses say that when people leave "the truth", they get involved in a debauched life, misery, and general unhappiness.. they give experiences of some that left the "sweet fellowship" of the "brotherhood" and the awful results because of it.
then, they come back and their lives change 100% for the better!.

My husband and I decided not meet with the elders under any circumstances because we are pretty sure they are to get us. They have used my friends to come in and "act" supportive in order to gather information and then they disappear and wont answer my calls or texts.
I'm personally so done with all of them and I wouldn't trust any elder. Please be careful, I can't help but to think they are trying to get something on you because we all know it's not LOVE.... I hope I'm wrong, but I have tons of reasons to never trust them again.
facebook plays a big part in what i'm about to tell since all the players involved are either currently on facebook or were on it when all this unfolded.
about 2 weeks ago my cousin starts trashing her mother, calling her names and screaming how her mother is a piss poor mother and now she's an orphan.
come to find out that my aunt (who's an on again off again jw - i think she's currently off) has chosen my cousin's bil over her, has been with said bil for close to a year (yeah there's sex involved - brrr gross, makes me sick just thinking about it) and bil is currently in jail for assault and sexually battery on a minor (said minor may be the daughter of another cousin, the granddaughter of my aunt's oldest sister, who was under my aunt's care).
I'm glad you took action and printed it out and sent it to where it needed to go Good for you and your husband..too many people today don't want to get involved. I hope the creep gets what he deserves.

i attended one day of a two day assembly and did ok until the very last talk.
the brother was from bethal and well jw's pay closer attention to their talks, cause that is when some new info is given,,,right.
well anyways i lost focus and began to daydream, cause it became one of those talks that just talks about wasting time.
How stupid is that?? Push the Little things... ignore the huge things..Blood issue, child molestation!!
