I am DF'd now... Decisions, decisions...

so i was df'd a couple weeks ago.

i live in a place where i didn't really have new friends at the kh, so my day to day life isn't changing.

i'm just me living life like i was 2 weeks ago and 2 years ago.

I'm sorry to tell you there will be no healthy way for your child to have a good relationship with your parents if your not involved. I say this, after trying for years to keep close to our JW families.

Sadly when you leave you and your children become their new mission. They will take anytime they have with you and your daughter to speak religion. Your daughter will be confused and feel judged as she grows into her own, with her free mind. I've seen it happen with my kids.

I wish you and your family the best!!

Wasn't invited, didn't go and really don't care :) Had a peaceful evening relaxed with a glass of wine waiting to see if we'll get a good view of the blood moon.

No Memorial invitation for us :)

this morning as my husband and i were backing out of our garage to head out to the farmers market a jw was walking up our walkway with his invitation.

he didn't see us and we didn't rocongnize him but a brother and sister we knew well actually looked our way.

we decided not to bother and went our way to enjoy a lovely morning picking out fresh fruit and vegetables knowing when we got home the invitation would be stuffed in our door.

he didn't see us and we didn't rocongnize him but a brother and sister we knew well actually looked our way.

we decided not to bother and went our way to enjoy a lovely morning picking out fresh fruit and vegetables knowing when we got home the invitation would be stuffed in our door.

He didn't see us and we didn't rocongnize him but a brother and sister we knew well actually looked our way. We decided not to bother and went our way to enjoy a lovely morning picking out fresh fruit and vegetables knowing when we got home the invitation would be stuffed in our door. Well to our surprise all our neighbors had them sticking out their doors but not ours..lol. I just had o snicker thinking the couple who knew us actually must have sent that poor guy back to retrieve that cheap piece of paper because we're such bad people That didn't deserve it.

It's so hard to Imagine just a few years ago I sat and cried with this sister sharing what happened to my child! These people are heartless pure and simple, I'm so glad we moved on from the conditional fake love they have for one another.

A Time to Heal.....even when we caused the wound

1991 was the last full year i was an active jw.

when i formally resigned in september 1992 my now ex-wife had already pretty much took all of the bound volumes and other society literature.. .

the only thing i was left with was a few copies of the nwt and the 1991 bound volumes the watchtower and awake!

I was handed a print out of that article right after my 10 year old was interrogated about her molestation!! Of course it gave me no peace, We wanted spiritual justice, We wanted support, we needed help...not another article to read!!

Years later, I now know they could care less about the abused, if they had their way they would rather look at a child as a liar and temptress then to admit the fact they have a serious problem. The only thing that mattered to them was how bad it made the org look! Our mental health, our physical health and our spiritual health meant absolutely nothing to them. We were forever changed and our challenges are never ending, not that they would even notice.
