i've been doing some watchtower membership growth projections.
the best, worst and most lightly future scenarios.
i've used the worlds population as a barometer of future watchtower growth.
But it's becoming an empty shell. For example -
Meeting attendance - the quality of dubs (ie staying power, stamina) is dropping.
We need a Publisher to Meeting attendance ratio or percentage.
DBOS = Dub Bums On seats.
I reckon the DBOS is down in the last 15 years from 95% to 75% nowadays in the western world.
The percentage of nominal low hour publishers is probably one-third to 40%.
They are hollowing out from the inside.
i am currently having to spend a little time waiting for an appointment in the vicinity of a central london station.
whilst waiting i am catching up on some work in a cafe.
i can see a couple of trolleys and have been watching them for around an hour now.. not one person has stopped to take literature.

i have been disfellowshipped for about 8yrs now, and have dealt with the 'consequences' of that decision: all my so-called friends in the org left and i was also abandoned by my own family.
so fisherperson sent me a pm asking a bunch of questions re my time at beth hell.

Morpheus you shouldn't have posted that pm without clearing it with the sender. It's not the crime of the century in as much as it doesn't in anyway reveal who fisherperson is and I understand you doing it because the content looks like fp is grilling you and doubts your honesty. Sit on the naughty step for ... let's see ... 5 minutes.
Fisherperson you are right that the post should not have been made identifying you - perhaps posting what you asked anonymously would have been the better way for Morpheus to go. After all it was a pretty intruding set of questions to pm someone.
But it does reveal your lack of comprehension. Your perceived lack of comprehension that the organisation you defend has severe fault lines in it and that so many basically honest people have been badly hurt by the policies and unwritten rules many of it's members uphold and enforce.

LITS - don't get wound up by fisherman. It seems to me you were at worst naive and gullible in your depth of belief that Bethel was the centre of true worship and that you simply believed you must be wrong. I know several in the London Bethel or who have been there and the negative stories that come out are enough to make me not recommend Bethel life to anyone who feels he or she must not go against their conscience to please men.
It is grimly satisfying that you are free and that the overseer who caused you so much grief is trapped. Unless he is dead or awake.
Fisherman is wilful in his behaviour - he defends the WT on a forum that they would describe as "apostate." He is going against what they say every time he puts his defence of them in a post on here.
He thinks enough of himself that the WT rules and guidelines don't apply to him. That should tell you the kind of person he/she is.

Each to his or her own Konceptual. If the rest of the UK was run like Brighton no one would travel anywhere if they wanted something more powerful than a bicycle. Don't go in for the lentil eating sandal wearing car hating lifestyle myself.
If you want a city by the sea try Portsmouth. Proper maritime history there!

so a friend in a nearby hall told me their co came through, and in a hellish week of long meetings and inquisition overhauled the boe.
only one remains as elder, three were re-appointed as ms, and one, the cobe was deleted entirely.. two new elders were brought in as new secretary and cobe / watchtower conductor, respectively, and introduced to the congregation from the platform on sunday immediately following his second talk.
he reminded everybody of the authority he has and then named the new appointees.
I have heard (rumour and only in one solitary case in Cornwall, England about ten years ago) that an elder who couldn't cope with judicials and stuff asked if he could be a MS instead and it was agreed by the London Branch.
But as The Listener said perhaps the rules have changed now the travelling monkeys have their own power.

He sounds genuine to me. Deluded and Naive. But genuine.
It would be good if he could show the invoice for food and any other documentation. If he left in good standing and it's written on his letters and there is a bill. That would answer Fisherman's points.
