I'd buy the one that is more 'energy efficiant'... in Oz we have a star rating system for energy- the more stars, the more efficiant! It may turn out to be the more expencive TV- but it will cost you less to run in the long term!.....

i have a choice between a 73 inch mitsb.1080 hdtv or a 52 inch sony lcd/hdtv?
the lcd seems brighter and more clear, but it is smaller.

Intellects do not believe in God
by garyneal inon our trip back home from the thanksgiving holiday spent at our home town my wife labeled me an intellect.
normally, i would've been flattered with the title but when she called me that she was referencing the bible verse matthew 11:25. this offended me to say the least.. she said that it was hard for people like me to have faith in something because i will always investigate it and make sure of it.
for example, if someone told me that the grass was green, she said i would not believe them and research grass and the color green to ensure that it really was.. i told her that this was absurd and that i see no reason to research whether or not the grass was green when i can see with my own eyes what color it is.

Tip- dont drink too much of the wine left out for 'Santa' before filling the stockings and wrapping last minute gifts while the kids are asleep.... 4 years ago my eldest son ended up with a barbie doll in his santa sack and my niece unwrapped her very first tonka truck! LOL

Santa was feeling really down one christmas eve, when the Angel came through the front door dragging a tree. "Santa, I knew you were not feeling the best this year. The elves are behind in toy orders and the raindeer all have gastro... I thought I might bring you this tree, to cheer you up a bit... where would you like me to stick it?".... and thats how the Angel got to be on top of the Christmas Tree... LOL

In Total How Much $$$ Will You Spend On XMas Gifts?

$200 on food and grog for over the 3 days, ours childrens prezzies (from us) $500, Santa Sack fillers for all 3 kids $150, we have a $10 limmit for each niece/nephew (so $130..), we dont buy for adults and our xmas cards plus postage will cost about $100.....
So.... this year, xmas will cost us well over $1000 dollars.... but it will be soooo worth the expence!!!!
Merry Xmas Everybody! (my hubby has already bought my prezzie- I got a new car! yippy!!!)

Its so cold!

at last check it was 39degrees C here- I m not far off putting my kids into bath again... it's our indoor pool on hot days like this... apparently it will rain over the next couple of days, but who knows- all I see outside is dust in the sky and no rain clouds... I will be so glad when we move further south!

As I have stated before, ALL religions contain SOME truth. Because they are set up to “attract” the children of Light… whose primary existence in THIS world… is spent in search OF… the Truth. John 14:6
Jesus answered Thomas- "I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the father except through me."
# This passage makes more sense to me when followed by 14:7....
"If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."
#How do you get to know someone? you talk to them. You can learn about someone by reading a book about them, but you dont 'know' them untill you have spoken to them in person, and had time to 'get to know them'. Otherwise, how do you know what you are reading is the truth?
I get it . (I kept my copy of the NIV just in case and for that 1% chance that I may have been be wronge- how big is a mustard seed?)
