Sorry "doubter". Wont get an "attaboy" from me. I feel the reasons you mentioned, "hellfire, death condition and immortal soul" still have the "ring of truth". Therefore the whole faith cannot be discounted due to changes, whether good or bad. However this site is overran with doubters, atheists and anti-jw's who seek a certain freedom but its an illusion from my perspective. Your doubts will be coddled here. -

Court denies summary judgement for Laurel Jehovah's Witnesses congregation
by OrphanCrow incourt denies summary judgement for laurel jehovah's witnesses congregation.
a motion for summary judgement is denied in a case against the laurel congregation of jehovah's witnesses and some individuals over child abuse reporting issues.a lawyer for the congregation maintained that elders were exempted from reporting requirements under a state law because of clergy privilege and confidentiality.the case resulted from allegations that elders did not report an unlawful sexual relationship between a woman and a 14-year-old boy, both of whom were members of the jehovah's witnesses congregation.. download the court opinion here.

Makemeanunbeliever, I don't resent you. You are just wrong.
No matter what problems "false religions" have, the WTBTS has no "large measure of truth" when compare to other Xian sects.

Many probably know (and I'm sure resent it) that I still believe JW's carry a large measure of truth. I feel I've defended it eloquently here. However one of the reasons I stopped going a couple years ago is because I felt we lack in the "abuse" area.

Lost all credibility with the childish antic background sounds.
You sound like you still have some JDub on your face. I am sorry but the childish noises do not overpower the pure fail coming from the governing body member's mouths!
Can BM make the video without the "childish noises" so these people with ADHD can focus on the fail?
Chillax. I dont go to meetings anymore but nothing Ive read or seen has swayed me to belive they are evil. I know that many here cry "trolls", "apologists" and "J-Dub showing". Again, childish.

TTATT is was coined by atheists & anti-jw's. Consider the source and take it with a grain of salt. Just like the org is not gospel neither is this site. -

General health after learning TTATT
by Darkknight757 in4 months ago i was conducting the watchtower study along with a long list of responsibilities that come with being an elder in a very goofy congregation.
during this time my health was going down hill.
i've always had a low blood pressure,(102/65 or abouts) but for the past year it had creeped up to 135/90 range.. so 2 months ago after learning ttatt, i'm still considered an elder because the brothers won't let me step down, but i haven't done anything in that time except comment once at a meeting a few weeks ago.

"Even if it isn't the truth, it's still the best way to live"
by Simon inhave you heard that old chestnut?
i have.. typically it's the last resort when you have dismantled a jws beliefs and they have no way of defending them.
they know they are beat so they come out with that one.. its effectively an admission that you are right and they have no argument but they are still going to attend meetings because they like the social club.. what a lame way to defend your faith..

I believe the reference encompasses more than just the JW creed. It is towards biblical living in general.
PS:Is it ok to disagree with the admin of this forum? Or do I have to roast "chestnuts" on the fire too?
