forgive me if i'm a bit slow with the title to this thread.

the true absurdity of the cult that robbed me of my intellect for so long is still beginning to dawn on me.. i'm doing more research into domestic violence as part of a response to the notorious "wife beating" article in the feb 2012 watchtower.. i was shocked to find a question from readers in the w75 5/1 p286-288 which basically said that a battered wife would not be scripturally free to divorce her husband.

my first reaction was that this stance must have changed since 1975, but then i dipped into my own memory from serving as an elder, and of course, adultery (including porneia) is given as the only scriptural grounds for divorce down to this day.. please can somebody correct me if i'm wrong, preferably with a reference?

I was in an abusive relationship with my ex-wife, a JW nutcase woman. She even intentionally hit me with a car in a fit of rage, but the elders did nothing. Abuse is not grounds for divorce in the JW wacky world.

experimented with various sounds and models this morning, and was able to recreate the townshend sound from "live at leeds.".

i don't even think i have plugged it in in over 2 years!

with my caregiver role, i rarely have the chance to play with my amp, only the acoustic guitar.

my personal story: i grew up as a jw, left, went to college, and have a career.

i have a spouse, married for many moons, wonderful kids, normal house, cute dog, and newer cars.

the "american dream".

the six screens of the watchtower has crossed the threshold of 1 million uploaded views on youtube.

how encouraging it is that what we set out to do is working..... helping active jehovah's witnesses find out what the watchtower organization is hiding behind.. youtube is a major thorn in the watchtowers side.

it is a powerful weapon for "the apostates" in exposing the evils of this dangerous and destructive cult.. we applaud all of our fellow soilders in uploading your videos to youtube as the some total of all of our efforts continue to help hurting jws.. http://www.youtube.com/user/araretreat .
