Actually, when I was 13 I had a best friend who was getting in trouble, she'd meet these "worldly boys" while walking down the street and then sneak around to meet up with them and "fool around." I turned her in, and instead of remaining her friend through what I'm sure was a very difficult time, I wrote her a terrible terrible letter, and called her slut, and said I never wanted anything to do with her again. She was later DFd and married a man who was terribly abusive to her. I tracked her down about 3 months ago, after not talking for over 11 years and talked and we made peace, I hope anyway. Funny thing is she lives just blocks from my parents. My regret is that I was self-righteous, and not mature enough at the time to realize how I may have been hurting her.

Was born a JW, baptized at 13, Left at 19 and took pretty much the whole population of young ones, and some of the old ones, with me. :) I started taking the King James bible with me to the meetings, and it changed everything I had ever known.

This weekend I went to a house warming party for some friends of mine. She is an alcoholic. She has 2 kids aged 7 and 10. The 7 year old plays with my Spencer quite often. At about 11:30pm she was sloppily drunk and had many a shot of Tequila. I was going to the bathroom and I hear her son in his bedroom screaming. I went in to comfort him. He tells me "mom came in to the bathroom and told me she hated me, that she didnt even know who I was, that I wasnt the little boy she wanted." He is such a sweet, well behaved child. I didnt know what to say to him, so I just rocked him and told him it was late at night and his mom was tired and soemtimes grownups get cranky when they're tired. I told him it would be okay in the morning. And says to me "she's not tired, she's drunk, and sometimes when she gets this drunk, she's still drunk in the morning, so it wont be okay."
That just broke my heart. It's hard to take back things sometimes. And especially with children you never know if what you say to them right this second with stay with them till they're 40 years old.

by FMZ ini am sure this post will anger a few people, and i respect that some find the idea of killing an animal repulsive.
all i ask is that, if you reply, you concentrate more on what you think of hunting and culling, rather than posting insults that i am a brute etc.
unfortunately it is a sad fact of life, that sometimes it is necessary to kill one or many animals to make sure things stay in balance.
