Good Looks or Spirituality

now, lets be honest here.

what were you looking for when you were searching for a wife/husband in the organization?

was it the good looks of the other person, or maybe the spirituality they had, or maybe the good job he or she had?

When I was a young, svelt, supple, goodlooking 18 year old, I began dating someone 11 years older. He was 6ft, about 380 lbs. and he had a big head too. Everyone talked about how spiritual he was. And supposedly my "spiritual" qualities are what attracted him to me. (yeah I bet)

I dated him, and evenually was engaged to him, even though my 'worldly' co-workers couldn't understand why. I thought I was proving how spiritually minded, and not shallow I was by marrying this ministerial servant. Turns out he wasn't as 'spiritual' as he claimed to be. Then again who is?

Though now I still don't put importance on physical aspects, it's still nice to have a physically fit person to sleep with *blush*

james coluburn died of a heart attack on monday at the age of 74. i wasn't a big fan of his but i'm sure he was a good actor.

i know it wasn't one of his greatest roles but i did like his character in the movie 'snow dogs'.

I have a cousin shot, and two in jail. Can name off 6 people I grew up with who are dead or locked up. Sorry to break it to you, but dim is white folk kids.

By the way, I've met Merlin several times a few years back when he was doing a show with Cindy Williams from Laverne and Shirley and the aunt from Family Matters. The name of the show escapes me at the moment. But when he was younger he was a real cool kat. Though I'm not sure what he became when he grew up.

JJ May I invite you to talk to my father, who was an 8 year old boy at the time and saw a man beheaded in the street. No pictures, his own eye witness to it.

Though many atrocities happen everyday worldwide and are not as widely published, I refuse to deny the severity of teh Holocaust

Such a waste of talent...... those JW sure can be persuasive at the right place and right time.

Shoot, not just the JWs.

I went to a funeral 2 days ago at a Nazarene church, where, by the time I left, I was damn near baptized and singing in the choir.

I'm sure all the JWs are saying what a great example of putting kingdom interests first. I wonder how much of his assets and earnings he's already left to the Organization in his will?

Sounds like maybe he's been hit in the head with the ball one too many times. From what I understand he's been pretty public about how they've helped his private life.
