My friend's i need your help more then ever.

i asked my husband for a divorce yesterday.

after he threw a plate full of food and a cup of coffee it went pretty well, especially after he left, but came back four hrs.

i have pretty hard questions i need your help with ,the first is what do i say when he keeps telling me that he leaves me alone a jws?

I dont have any advice, and have never been in your situation. But I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you. I've had friends in similar situations and I've how hard it was for them. You hang in there. You rock!!

I am new to the board

hello everyone, i am new to this discussion board.

my name is pinned blouse because once i was wrongly df'd and i no longer attended the meetings, i noticed all my blouses had pin holes in them where i fastened safety pins in them to make sure i was always "modest" lol.

mind you i do not have large boobies but i did not want to "tempt" the brothers.. .

First loves.

how are you guys' views on first loves?

are they always supposed to end up heart breaking just to teach you a natural lesson that always seems to happen.

or can you reall find the right person the first time?

They say that children are your TRUE love.

For me, I had dated people and been engaged before I found what I thought was my First Love. He was the "worldly" guy I started dating as I was leaving. It was such an intense relationship. We would go up to the mountains and talk till late into the early morning hours. I felt like I had finally found that ONE person who understood every thought I had, and vise versa. I lost my virginity to him. And for a time I was completely over-whelmed by the feelings I had with him.

In retrospect though, as I got older and moved on, I realized that I was just in an intense infatuation. It was hard to get over him I'll admit. The next couple of people I dated I Did compare them to him and no one seemed to compare. We attempted to reconcile about a year later, but I realized it wasnt him that I loved, but the that feeling. So looking back on things, settling down with him would have been a HUGE mistake. I'm glad things worked out the way they did between us, and I dont hold any grudges, I have a nostalgic soft place in my heart for him, and probably always will. Not that I would ever want to attempt another relationship with him, but just because it was a big part of a tumultuous time in my life.

as i mentioned last night at our mini-apostafest supper, my posting rate is like my car mileage - i've had the car 4 years and don't even have 30,000 kilometres on it yet.. now i have 1,000 posts and it took ages to get here!

i don't know how some of you do it, i mean, 10,000 posts is like trying to reach the end of the universe without warp speed!.

i just home from the rennaisance pleasure fair, (again).

it's hot as hell here, and i'd like to crack open my first ice cold coors light of the evening as i get caught up on the debauchery of the dallas fest.. .
