after i decided/resolved to return to meetings several months ago, after being away on and off for several years; i can honestly say that i feel far more settled and comfortable in attending meetings again.. i struggled to attend before, having been reproved, then moving to a different congregation which i didnt find to be overly freindly.

it was only after i was reproved that i began to see all the past history of the soc iety(via internet) and the many things that simply stumbled me.

3 times i tried to return to meetings and three times i fell away.

thats it! its the verb "to wait" then, perimeno meaning " i wait" and perimenoumpe meaning "we wait", perimene "you wait", perimeneis "he,she,it waits", "perimenete "they wait" and perimenovn " he, she, it waits plural" think i've got that right anyway....

i hope you don't mean me wobble? I'm not sure what it means, as the spellling has been transliterated, maybe the poster themselves could explain before i have to start calling up all te greeks i know....

did anyone ever experiance when a family member happened not to be there at the meeting?

i would be always told " give them my love" by everyone i spoke to.

but what does that love mean?

did anyone ever experiance when a family member happened not to be there at the meeting? I would be always told " give them my love" by everyone i spoke to. But what does that love mean? Does it mean they call up the missing person to see how they are? NO! Do they send a card/ flowers/ email? No!

So what does it mean? Absourlute zip, zero! There is/was no love, its just somthing to be careless tossed out at the end of a convo to make thensleves feel better.

i remember hearing about all the trouble there, and how the power factions left the jw's alone though because they knew they were nutral.

now that i'm questioning the rubbish i've been taught all my life, i'm starting to question it too.

it certainly would not fit in with everything i've heard that went on there.. any ideas?.
