  JW's view of apostates who die while "out"

  i wittnessed in my time several woe filled jw's apon hearing that one of their former members had died while out or the "turth".

  the typical reaction was " we can only pray to jehovah that their heart condition was right at the end".

  WTF! Does that mean????

  The other typical responce is: "The wages sin pays is death! They shall not get a resserection now because of their disobediance, we must be carefull that that never happens to us!"

  Of course we know our view of dubs that are still in, that they are the ones who are currently "dead" and we would love it if they came to life and started to live the life they have.

  Why do elders offer to "study" with witnesses?

  has anybody else ever experienced this?

  when you get into a bit of trouble in the congregation or have certain questions/doubts over teachings and they want to study with you all over again?

  you could have been a witness your whole life, know the bible teach/live forever/knowledge book front to back, even have studied with others and brought them into the religion - and the elder sitting across from you wants to know if a bible study would help you.

  when "in" i would have picked "sister perfect" i've written about her before, the one that farted chanel no 5?.

  now that i'm out i pick lady gaga, someone that would scare the s**t out of sister perfect hahahahaa!.

  wether you like lady gaga's music or not, she is a kick ass business woman, who has vision and will not allow critics to get in the way of that.

  Have JW's got the Memorial date wrong?

  i remember a long and complicated debate between our very own joseph malik and the unbelievably named rud perrson about the sabbaths that seemed to show that the nit-picking witlesses had even got this wrong !.

  i would love to see a simple explanation.. the other thing is that i do believe the once a year thing is wrong, jesus didn't say "every passover", they were enjoying a meal together, and he said "as often as you do this......" so whenever they ate together it would be good to have something that celebrated jesus' life and death.. but is nisan14 wrong anyway ?.

  i was born into "the truth" back in 1964. i made the big mistake of getting baptised when i was about 14 or so, purely to please my father as i saw how proud he was when my brothers were baptised....didn't work.. we moved to a new congregation when i was about 8, he introduced all my brothers to the congregation by name, a short bio of thier endearing qualities and how proud he was of them, when he introduced me it was "and this is our black sheep of the family, steve".. i remember living in fear at the fast approaching 1975....actually, living in terror is probably a more apt desciption.

  all of you will full well know how it was instilled into us at every meeting and assembly how we are living in the last days.. as a 15 year old, a brother dobbed me in for kissing a worldly girl at school.

  went through the marked process, judicial committy, disfellowshipped and the shunning which continues to this day by what's left of my family.
