Do Not Interpretations Belong To.....

joseph in the book of genesis told the pharaoh after a perplexing dream "do not interpretations belong to god?".

Jehovah their god is side lined though when it comes to the GB. In the JW's eyes the GB is a greater god than Jehovah, or rather the GB is god.
Not that i now belive in either!

how many in your cong had nervous breakdowns?
by highdose inof the congregation i spent my life in i would say a good 75% had nervous breakdowns at some point.
and often there was never really a obivous reason for it.
well not that we jw's could understand at the time.. even the queen bee's/ elderettes were not immune to this.. what about you?.

by highdose ini have a freind who is a great cook and loves to cook for freinds at his house.
the trouble is: he is not a great cleaner!.
the result being that the dinner table is caked with dryed on food, the plates and cutlery the same.

asilenttone... i have before now tried to wash up for him, but i broke a glass and now he won't let me near the sink!

I have a freind who is a great cook and loves to cook for freinds at his house. The trouble is: he is not a great cleaner!
The result being that the dinner table is caked with dryed on food, the plates and cutlery the same. Quite often the glasses will have lip marks on them still too. I nearly always come away with food poisioning! He also refills everyones glass by taking them all away to the kitchen and bringing them back full, but can't remember/ is not bothered about whose glass was whose, so everyone ends up drinking out of someone elses glass!
I'm not sure how to handle this carefully? Suggestions?

Convention Badges Location
by Bangalore inwhy does the wt ask jw's to wear their badges on their chest?
in the case of brothers it is not a problem but is it not embarassing for the sisters?
also if an attendant for some reason has to check out a sisters badge, it might appear that he is staring at.... escpecially considering that this is a religion regarded by many as quite prudish.. .

I stopped wearing mine on my chest after getting really sick of brothers staring at my chest. I wore it on my handbag instead and then the attendents would make a point of asking " where is your badge sister?!". I mean what if i had been a bible study?
I never understood why we spent so much time pre convention asking people to it and then at the convention harrass them for not being "one of us"???
Did anyone really hate the mess they made of the fabric?
Oh and lets not forget the "mega badge" which was if you were an attendent... then you got to have a double badge(!) and if you were first aid... then you got to have a double badge and a floresent jacket(!) Oh the power! the power!

Conditional love Vs Unconditional love
by highdose ina thought occured to me today that very rarely in the bible is god shown to have unconditional love.
his whole basis of looking after the israelites was about " do as i say and i will love you, but if you don't i will kill you!".
surely thats as about as conditional as love can get.. then of course there is jesus dying for us.

A thought occured to me today that very rarely in the bible is god shown to have unconditional love. His whole basis of looking after the Israelites was about " do as i say and i will love you, but if you don't i will kill you!". Surely thats as about as conditional as love can get.
Then of course there is Jesus dying for us. This is meant to be Unconditional love but the bible follows it up with all manner of conditions to this. Meaning that you only get this unconditional love if you are worthly of it, which is a contradiction in terms really.
Then there is human parents who love their children no matter what. this is real unconditional love and appeals to us humans most. It would appear there fore, that the love humans show their children is of a better quality than the love god shows his.
