I still have my Elder book and I 'stepped down' 20 years ago. The tragic part of being an Elder was the lack of training, particularly in counseling and not genuinely helping people thru rough times.

problem is the society wanted this money for itself so..... kingdom ministry nov 2005 {11 months after tsunami} "last year brothers donated towards those effected by the tsunami disaster...however, when donations are earmarked for certain disasters it is...to use these funds only as specified by the donor {so what?
} and within a certain period of time, whether the needs of the brothers have been cared for locally or not.
I have a written response from the Society on Relief Funds. I had written them a check for a particular disaster and they wrote back that it had been put in to their general fund. Like choosing life it was my last donation.

Straw man. Technically their theology states that a person comes to the Father thru Jesus. Since they believe in a form of Limited Atonement, they hold that the New covenant applies to the Church (Bride of Chrsit) now and humanity in general post Millennium.
They have added layers to that simple dictum- extra ecclesium nulla salus and the revivalism of apostalic succession. Shades of Catholicism and LDS.

Wasn't promoting the Watchtower, never did. You assumed that. They have very serious flaws. Its just that in comparison to Trinitarians and their concept of god the Witnesses are a very small pie. And your violent world continues in the present. A great Warning sign should be placed outside your Churches.
The Hell God produces violence in people, gives them justification for it.

Christendom's violence is on such a grand scale it makes the nuttiness of the Witnesses look miniscule in comparison, but you have trouble seeing the corruption, standing to close to the forest perhaps.
