  i was thinking back on something my sister, she is a jw, said to me.

  for some reason we had gotten on the subject of aids and africa.

  we got to talking about how many people have gotten it and have either died, living with it, or are affected by it.

  i think the term 'truthseeker' would be better and quite annoying to jws who think they are!.

  aaaarrgh... i finally got the guts to tell my mom yesterday i wouldn't be attending any more meetings.

  of course, i had my reasons all laid out (going to the meetings would be hypocrite of my part, etc.

  ) but, surprisingly, she didn't ask for any reason.

  Labels/classes are loved by JWs...so I think it is well to fight back with one! HaHa! Truthseeker seems to have some appeal here...so that will be it for me! There should be no doubt that it is wholly appropriate. Maybe JWs started out as 'Truthseekers' but now this title belongs solely to XJWs.
