  Question concerning pedophiles

  in everything i have read and heard, pedophiles associated with the wt organization have been men.

  i believe that everyone will agree that pedophilia is not an all male problem, some women prey on children also.

  has anyone read or heard of women in the organization accused of pedophilia?

  Our close friends experienced this problem. They re 14 old son was sexually used by a 28 year old sister. Although it was investigated by the elders it was considered a 'Mrs Robinson' kind of thing. The sister who was a regular pioneer at the time was only privately reproved and left to stay attending the same congragation at the distress of our friends. The 14 year old was left confused by the experience and feeeling guilty that he had put her in asituation attempts to see her again , obviously because he feels in love with her' and is discovered seeing her.

  The elders decide that he is bang out of order and publically reprove him and the women still is encouraged by the elders to attend the same hall rather than move to the next door cong. Our friends, particulary the mother has suffered but because the father is an elder he will not rock the boat and so nothing happens.

  I wanted to go to the police myself but you know if people are not willing to face reality what can you do!

  JW's and home schooling?

  i don't wish to offend any that are teaching their kids at home, but today i was again confronted by a situation where a jw family were home schooling.

  the kids had little structure to their routine and without putting the mum down, she was no teacher in an academic sense.. the subject is close to my heart because my parents who are witnesses, took my younger brothers out of school and home tutored them.

  the were subjected to below standard education and limited in social skills, particularly as my parents are crap at these skills themselves.. i have grown to hate home schooling except in the situation of medical or logistical situations.. what are your comments good or bad and do you think the option to home school is abused by the witness community?.

  i am an INTP.

  It seems there are a number of Introverts with strong Intuitive and Logic elements. Today i thought that considering the Borg consider themselves the new nation they never are interested in carrying out real surveys. For example how many witnesses suffer from depression and mental illness.' You can only manage what you can measure' is an a kind of saying, but they never measure anything other than book sales and hours.

  Not that i care! The more people leave and the quicker is the best. Its just that so many suffer when they leave and only a few get the help they need. We are the tip of the ice burg!!!

  Did you know anyone on disability who pioneered?

  another thread got me thinking about this:.

  in the area i live in, its not uncommon for people to be "ill" enough not to be able to hold a job, but they still regular pioneer.. when i was younger, someone tried to hook me up with this girl.. i called her and we chatted for a while.

  i asked her what she did for work - "oh, well i am a pioneer".

  I ve known many pioneers and even elders who are on disability benefit and abuse the welfare system. They do it because its for a righteous reason! The elder who was on disability because of a back that meant he could not work allowed him to keep a full size allotment and get enough golf practice to be able to win the little tournament the bro's in the cong organized every year. The state paid for his 4 bedroom house and the motorbility scheme allowed him a 7 seater car. Although on benefits he ended up with 6 kids! not bad for a man with a bad back???? A yet he was not the worst offender in the cong at the scams!!

  Is regularly texting/phoning someone (not your partner) cheating?

  hello - can i ask you all for your opinions?.

  if your partner (husband/wife, gf/bf etc) was phoning and texting someone approx 20 times per day,would you find it unacceptable?

  for example, if your wife was texting/phoning another brother (also married) 20 to 30 times a day, would you get suspicious?

  I ve done it and i am sure loads have. I think it is running into dangerous territory and if not with that person it leaves you open to temptation. If you cannot do something in front of your partner and be able to reasonable defend the action(s) then you are in a position of living dishonestly. I don't think a person is good or bad for doing it but the only time my own relationship has been healthy is when we both live honestly and rationaly with each other. The person doing the texting must ask themselves 'why?' is it boredom, a need for some excitement?

  i refuse to be labelled as the evil slave class and certainly cannot describe "coming to my senses" as being thrown out by the master.

  thanks some good points and ones that make sense! When i look back at some of the WT history they have expected the master and made comment to say he is here. When he has not come instead of being humbles they have allowed the flock to take the blame for running ahead or just behaved down right arrogantly. Ray Franz and this business of the london bethel apostasy if it can be verified is an example of blatant and down right bullying!!!! I have no shame in how i feel, in fact i feel more like william tyndale and galilaeo now than ever. Apologies for spellin xx

  I went back to be controlled! as my life was out of control!!! How ever l think that life has lessons for us all, not all the time, and i think i needed to learn to take control by realizing that it was missing in my life. I regret not learning the lesson sooner as it would have spared me years and toil but i ve learnt it so i am happy!

How can we the 'apostate class' along with the ever increasing great crowd of 'other conscience class' critically examine whether or not we are fulfilling this scripture? To be honest i would not go back in, as everlasting life with the 'elder class' would be hell, but i do wonder? any thoughts
