I amnot arguing with that Cofty.
Those that believe in Christ are saved from judgment and those that don't will be judged by their actions and the eternal consequences that arise from that Judgment.
Of course those that Believe in Christ are under "another kind of judgment", - for to those that much is given, much is asked".
I am not denying that there is a reward for believers and punsihment for unbelievers, I am simply of the opinion that the process is not as simple as "worship Me or die".

The central theme of the New Testament is salvation. The gospel or "good news of the kingdom" was the means of salvation through faith in Jesus.
Salvation from sin and what leads from sin, death ( apart from God).
Yes, that is my understanding also.
That salvation is a gift of God'sa grace through Christ so that we may be in Him and He in Us.

I thought Christ was the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.
Of course He was/is, but you mentioned "ransom sacrifice" and since there are a few doctrines of the "ransom analogy", I was wondering which one you subscribe to.

What is your faith assured of?
Our Father and Our Lords love for me and all of their children.

Explain to me what you think Christ's "ransom sacrifice" was?
i was wondering (again) about what i got out of my deal with mormon god.
the more i thought about it the more i realised that the xian god asks way too much and offers too little.. what does xg demand:.
1 - obedience to changeable often arbitrary commandments normally with little clarification of when and when not to apply them.
Very true. I have not yet succeeded in creating a god. Actually I quite like being free to make my own decisions. I already have a wife, so a god as well might be too much to cope with in one short life.
You are wise in the ways of the world my friend !
i don't have all the refs in front of me here but i know there are some passages in the bible that are in question as if no one is sure if they should be there.. eg: john 8:7 etc.. i'm sure there are apologist answers to this.
god was supposed to be preserving his holy word for us isn't he?
as i see it it just shows that god must be very weak and doing a bad job at this.............and a poor communicator.......?.
1john5:7 was not an additon to 1John.
5 Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7 For there are three that testify: 8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.
You are thinking of the "comma johanneum", the adition or interpreation that was placed in some bibles that reads:
in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one. 5:8 And there are three that testify on earth
Here is some info on it:

Matthew 28:19 appears to be very questionable when examined alongside other Scriptures and a 2nd-3rd century writer's words.
Several sites such as this one, http://www.tektonics.org/lp/matt2819.html give a good case to support the claim that the Scripture (as presented) is a fiction, just as 1 John 5:7 is.
NOt sure what you mean here since that site states:
The Epistle of Ignatius to the Philippians, in Chapter 2 (see here) says, Wherefore also the Lord, when He sent forth the apostles to make disciples of all nations, commanded them to "baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost....".
Tertullian, c. 200 AD (see here writes in On Baptism, Chapter XIII: "For the law of baptizing has been imposed, and the formula prescribed: "Go," He saith, "teach the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." and in Against Praxeas, chapter 2 says, "After His resurrection ..He commands them to baptize into the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost".
Hippolytus (170-236 AD says in Fragments: Part II.-Dogmatical and Historical.--Against the Heresy of One Noetus, "gave this charge to the disciples after He rose from the dead: Go ye and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
Cyprian (200-258AD) in The Seventh Council of Carthage Under Cyprian says, And again, after His resurrection, sending His apostles, He gave them charge, saying, "All power is given unto me, in heaven and in earth. Go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." and alludes to the same passage in other places as well.
Gregory Thaumaturgus (205-265 AD) in A Sectional Confession of Faith, XIII (see here says, "....the Lord sends forth His disciples to baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit?"
