It will be blamed on the Rank and File, they took the date and placed more emphasis on it than they should have.

just a thought on watchtower,Dec.1
by pat1060 ini was looking over the december 1 watchtower,the one for the public.on page 8 there is an article called the appointed time is near.is is a small article on all the events of the last days.all the scriptures.but not a word about 1914.i heard a while back that 1914 may just start to fade from the literature.did any one else see this article?.

Darnkid - Breifly.
I was an uber dub until I did some reearch for the Memorial this year. It suddenly dawned on me that the FDS were my mediator to Jesus and that I could not have a proper relationship with God without them. That concerned me. I strated doing some research which showed me that the organisation was based on foundation of lies and scams. I found out the truth about the occult practice of Pyrimidology practiced by Russell, the autocratic and despotic leader style of people like Rutherford and knorr, I woke up to the fact that the organisation is cult that uses processes such as disfellowshipping as a means to control people and information. My research and led me to here, where I was given some great advice and learned about other people who had been where I am now. I decided that I would fade from the congregation.
I could not leave outright, my whole life has roots leading back to the congregation. The majority of my family are Witnesses, most of my business comes from witnesses, 43 years of my life being a witness means most of my friends are too. My children's friends are primarily witnesses. A couple of months back I bought Crisis of Conscience as a download, I got my wife to read it. She is now supporting me. We rarely go to meetings and are doing what we can can to build a life outside, but we have to fade and not get DF'd or DA ourselves unless we lose our family, and (selfishly) our inheritance.

If your daughter marries a baptised brother he will not talk to you. Families are only to be contacted in "emergency" situations.

i have about 20 or 25 to get to where i was when i got married.

Dec. 15th WT - WT Society REALLY Minimizes Earning a Decent Living
by flipper init's ridiculous.
i saw this so much in my 44 years in the jehovah's witness cult.
whether it was elders, pioneers, or other people in the cult criticizing others for working too much at their employment or missing some service or meetings due to employment.

3 Years ago I turned down a £75,000 PA job because it would leave very little time for anything else, I was an elder at the time and my yongest was just 4. Reading your post made me wonder if I would still turn it down. The answer is YES" I probably would still turn it down because it would mean working away 6 days a week and I would miss too much of my kids growing up. What this shows, is, we generally are not motivated just by money, we make decisions based on numerous factors. The WTS doesn't really need to control people, we do this ourselves by taking into account everyting that is important to us, and making decisions in line with all those things.
