  Too many to list....

  All those mentioned by Big Mac (except hotspur - but we have spoken) in addition Mr. Majestic who was the first apostate I met from here when I was still an elder, Kate Wild the closet atheist, the wonderful Mickey Mouse and hubby and of course Phizzy, my drinking buddy, pams girl, watersprout, cedars and Mrs cedars.

  Outside the UK Aude Sapere, Dagney, Billy the Ex, Dog Patch (Randy), Wha Happened jabberwock and I am sure have missed others my apologies

  I believe all them have responded well to therapy and have almost blotted me from their minds.

  One thing about this site that bothers me

  the constant references to 'window washers' as something derogatory.. i understand the context of it-that most jws are uneducated, and unqualified to do much more.

  but sometimes the references seem snobbish, almost mean-spirited.

  one poster, on another thread, essentially referred to window washers as 'losers'.

  Sent cover design to a publisher and they liked it

  i was asked by a friend to design a book cover for her book of poems and finally after 3 designs found one she was happy with.

  the publishers sent me a lovely response and asked if they could pass my details on to anyone who wanted cover art as i was obviously a professional.

  was both surprised and delighted.

  i have fed a number of birds regularly thru winter, and among the species were some doves.

  this spring, two of them took a liking for each other and teamed up.

  for a couple of weeks, extensive construction work was jointly done and resulted in a nice little nest, undoubtedly a cosy home for the small family which expected to multiply.

  other than not wasting hours at meetings, assemblies and doing pointless activity.. for me the biggest difference has been my choice of employment, i could have never undertaken the job i do now when i was dub..

  as i've been chatting with a jw neighbour he has said, "heck, some people think we are a cult!

  " and scoffs at very idea.

  Can we be deleted as an appointed man, or disfellowshipped without meeting in a committee?

  so, i am genuinely wondering if the above is possible nowdays?.

  with the changes in the power structure of co's, the changes in gb directives re never questioning "jehovah's appointed channel etc", i wonder if "disciplne can be given out in absence?.

  i know that several elders in our cong have little "discussions" about my apparant slackening off, and would love to take action against me... they have tried to chat with me but that has been shot down.. so i wonder if they could just make a decision without me being present for it?
