Hi Pineapple. I hope you find what you are looking for. Live your life by looking forward not backwards. Be who you are, what you want to be not what others want you to be. Find friends who love you unconditionally. Don't be enslaved to anyone elses ideas, use your intelligence to live by your own.

Don't worry - the F&DS will deal with the root causes of mankind's woes!
by peacedog inthis statement from the jan 2010 wt, page 13:.
[jesus] knew that he himself as king of that kingdom, along with his resurrected spirit-begotten brothers, would deal with the root causes of mankind's woes-sin and the devil.

Asperger's Syndrome
by Joshnaz inmy jw sister e-mailed me today, telling me she thinks her husband has asperger's syndrome.
she herself is bi-polar and has been diagnosed with post tramatic stress disorder.
i'm thinking jw's have alot of mental disorders, but i never heard of anyone with asperger's syndrome.

My sons Aspergers is what makes him truly wonderful. I don't fear for him as I know that he will not allow himself to be led by others and he is his own person. I am often amazed at how quickly he can process quite complex information and how observant he is to even small changes in his environment. He has trouble with bright lights , loud noises and over stimulation of the senses so assemblies are not good at all so good reason to cut back on some of the weekend trials by boredom.
The organisation doesn't cause aspergers in the same way it doesn't cause brown eyes.

Our son exhibits Aspergers. It made him display difficult behaviours during meetings (talking very loudly and throwing tantrums) but it was not caused by or excerbated by them.

Nugget (Mrs Cantleave) has been taking it for two years, they have just changed the packaging and the pain seems to have coincided with this change. She is in a lot a pain and will be seeing the Doc in the next few days.

Do you ever actually tell your family you're not coming back? What do I do?
by stillAwitness ini've been "inactive"for four years now.
i am quite proud of myself for making it this far since i moved out on my own at 22 for the first time.
i've remained in school, try to live a balanced and productive life and still drive home to visit my parents at least once a month (they live 45 minutes outside of the city) luckily, my parents and i still remain close (as much as a baptized inactive child and still fanatic jw parents are able to be) and besides my mom's constant pestering about me attending meetings again and coming back to the troof, i haven't had to much stress from them or the elders.

stillAwitness, I have just been reading your historic posts. Congratualtions on a successful fade!
Your parents our concerned for your "spirituality" and Salvation. Their expressions of concern about meeting attendance etc. are due to the fact they love you and want you to survive Armageddon. Until they see the light (if they ever do) they will always try to encourage you to come back. Yes, it's annoying, upsetting and frustrating, but you aint going to stop it. You can tell them until you atre blue in the face that you are NEVER coming, back but they will cling to hope. I would just continue with the appraoch you have taken so far, not many on this board in you circumstances can say that they have a great relationship with their JW parents, for you to have that is something precious, don't jeapordise it.
