A.) You obviously don't understand the trinity doctrine... (There are not 3 gods, but one god)

B.) The WT believes in Jehovah (God #1 for them)

C.) John 1:1 (NWT) --- And the word was A GOD --- (Jesus, God #2 for them -- Although in reality they don't treat him as a god, they barely even acknowledge his existence)

D.) Then we have God's representative here on earth, the F&DS for through which nothing that God #1 or God#2 will divuldge, except through them (God #3, who in reality is far more powerful than God #1 or God#2)

Who has the Trinity doctrine, and three gods again?

Doctor Visit Today

well folks: i had my first follow-up visit, and things are not as good as i was hoping.

essentially, using diet and exercise to try and reverse my clogged arteries is okay for 15 areas which are 50% or less clogged, by 2 of the points are 80% occluded ... and must be treated in a matter of months, or i face death inside a year ... so, i have some time, but not as i hoped.

the two bad occlusions art each at the intersections of main branches ... and either of them would likely kill me if they close up.. the doctor was impressed with my diet changes, lifestyle adjustments, and weight loss and level of recovery ... but the recovery is limited, in that i still have some strong angina with mild exercise, strongly suggesting my heart does not get enough blood when i exercise, and then when i eat a large meal, the stomach uses enough blood flow, that the heart gets starved and i go into serious angina ... soooo ... i am ordered to limit exercise and eat 6 to 8 tiny meals a day ... and i am even getting a handicap sign for my car ... yikes!

Phil Donahue and JW's

phil donahue debuted on msnbc tonight.

i entered his rant after it started, however, it was about the pledge of allegiance and jw's.

his guest is pat buchanan and phil is ranting about how great the jw supreme court decision was in 1942. he said the witnesses were persecuted for not pledging and that they were brave people.

i just finished watching the panorama report on jw pedophiles, and like many of you, i am thoroughly disgusted at the watchtower's lying, maneuvering and hypocrisy on this issue.

they are truly a wicked organization, deserving of the worst judgment of both god and man.. one statement they made that just leapt out at me was when the bbc reporter asked the person on the phone at brooklyn bethel how many names were in the society's database of pedophiles within the organization.

the response from the watchtower spokesman was that "focusing on numbers isn't meaningful.".

i've only just joined but i would be grateful if you could give me some information on this ngo business.. i live in england, am completly ignorant and no nothing about the un (everything i learnt in school went in one ear and out the other as did much else i learnt!).

i would be grateful if someone could explain what ngo is exactly and how jw's were involved with it.. much appreciated.

Also local NGOs who are "associated" with DPI will also have a copy for you as well. Look up the list and see if an "associated" NGO is close by to where you live. Most want to help.

Baptism talk - question

my daughter had to attend the assembly last weekend due to the fact that it fell during the visitation time that she has with her dad.she noticed a change during the baptism talk and she was't sure if she heard it correctly.. she said the statement just prior to the two questions was that the ones dedicating themselves to baptistm were dedicating themselves to jehovah and not to an organization.. yet when the questions were actually asked, it asked if they would dedicate themselves to god and that the baptism identifies you as being in association with jehovah's withnesses as god's spirit directed organization .

in essence are they still not focusing on dedicating themselves into submission and obligation to a man made organization?

did anyone else who attended the convention notice this?

Uhh, that's what they said, and then they went ahead and asked the question that had to be answered about aligning yourself with God's spirit directed organization..

I can tell you that the Earth is round, then later ask you a question, do you understand that the earth is square (You answer yes)..

At some point in time later, I can HONESTLY claim that I told you that the earth was round!!!

I was told that at one district assembly, the speaker actually said that after you goto a door and find a receptive person, and are planning to do a return visit, think about the person before you return, this way when you return, you can show your concern by saying HONESTLY that you thought about them since your last visit!!!

Same stuff..!!! They now have an HONEST disclaimer, yet nothing has changed!!!!

I just watched the program, and at the end of it the lady said that they take suggestions for ideas of new programs..

Hmmm, I wonder if they would be receptive to the UN scandal as well

BTW: That program was MUCH better than the Dateline program.. Now I see why they are worried!!!! Lawsuit city on that one!!!! THE BOTTOM LINE IS AT STAKE!!!!

Out of curiosity, I don't have it to look up, but isn't this the same letter sent to Dateline?

Ya know, I was reading the letter, and the feeling was, I read this somewhere before..

A few things changed, but nothing of substance:

A.) We abhore pedophealia

1.) Don't even mention that word within our congregation, especially if you are accusing one of 'gods' people..!!!

2.) Pedophealia? We don't have that in god's organization.. Only Christendom suffers from such gross sins!

B.) We protect the flock via bible principles

1.) You must tell us everything of what happened little girl

2.) we will ask in a polite manner the accused if indeed he did it

3.) He said NO, you (11 year old girl) must now come with us and state in front of this man what he did to you

4.) He still said NO!

a.) We are sorry, and thank you for your time in helping us resolve this matter, brother

b.) Little girl, He did nothing, and you are guilty of spreading false witness within the congregation.. A very serious offense!

c.) Little girl's parents get counseled on how the IMAGE of Jehovah's people is everything, and NOTHING can be proven by Jehovah's standards.. You are welcome to report this if you want, but we remind you that NOTHING can be proven within God's organization, and spreading false witness is punishable by DF, not to mention the reproach YOU would bring upon Jehovah's name by bringing in secular authorities.. After all, we are god's people.. What can secular authorities prove that we cannot?

C.) We don't allow any convicted pedophile to serve in any capacity within the congregation

1.) All he can do is go door-to-door.. He can molest worldly people all he wants, but he cannot have any authority within our organization

2.) There is an escape clause; If we determine through very rare circumstances that he is OK, we can appoint him

a.) this is a CYA clause.. Just in case you find the few MS/Elders in our midst's that have a record and are still people in 'authority', we can 'show' that he is indeed an upstanding citizen, and make up the 'rare instance' rule as we go along (since we didn't tell you what it was yet)

D.) We keep records to protect our 'flock'

1.) We keep records on everyone, it just so happens that we may record (or may not, probably not) accusations of pedophealia.

2.) This has NOTHING to do with protecting the flock, this has to do with

a.) Who is putting in the most hours every month (You know, Jehovah is gonna wanna review these records)

b.) who are the trouble makers, and have any semblence of independant thought -- we need to reprogram these ones, or remove them quickly

c.) We even keep records on non-witnesses just for the fun of it!!! Hahaha, do something about it!!! Privacy laws - we laugh in your face!

E. ) Did I mention we follow the bible?

1.) We interpret the bible to be what we want it to be, whenever we need it to say whatever we need it to say, we twist a scripture to apply

a.) example: 2 classes of Christians

b.) example: 1914 -- oops, sorry, bad example, based on a secular date which we mangled... circular logic!!!

c.) see example b

d.) FYI: we don't need 2 witnesses to accuse someone outside of the organization of any wrong doing; they are of satan, and don't deserve 2 witnesses to anything

F.) Have a nice day

1.) Can't wait for you to die a horrible death in the Tribluation!
