Of course, the interesting aspect of this cognative dissonance is that, like you said, there is a finite limit to what a person can take, the 'wall' cracks a little with each morsil of truth that get's through... (I guess that can be the true meaning of "The light gets brighter and brigher").. Soon, the wall can no longer keep the darkness out, and the sun shines in, and the entire WT lies come crumbling down..

Hi Happy,

I can tell you that here in Sweden they have decid today that they must change the system , and from now it is not inaff widh what the children say, they must have some more info who can prove it in some way, WHY, several cases here the children have regret what they say and change ther story,and the peopel who was condemd proven inocent .

Can I ask where you heard this information? Is it first hand knowledge?

Nope, one party must know.. That includes the recorder!

So, what the law basically is saying is if I was to eavesdrop on your private phone conversation with someone else without either you or the person you are talking to, I'd be breaking the law..

However, if you can I are talking, it is legal for either one of us to tape the conversation without the other knowing it.. Not all states have that law, but I believe the majority of them do, and I believe Kentucky is one of them!

And the WT knows it, for if it was not, I'm quite sure the WT would already be working up to sue Bowen for taping that conversation to Bethel legal that was soooo damning towards them!!!!

Oh, don't be quiet.. Please, that's how this board works.. Contribute your thoughts, ideas.. You are free to discuss anything and everything here.. There are no rules, other than respect for the other person..

I hope I didn't come off as angry or disrespectful to you.. I didn't mean to... I was merely voicing my opinion..

I think the 'little guy' there is way too happy to be in the arms of the smurf..

Somethings going on here, folks.. I just hope for the 'little guys' salvation that if the smurf tries anything, the 'little guy' screams, oh yeah, and doesn't enjoy it :-)

I believe the law of Kentucky states that you can record a conversation if ONE party knows about the recording...

That's how Bill was able to LEGALLY record the phone conversation with Brooklyn Bethel about the 'advise' he was given RE: A Child abuse case, where Bethel Legal said I would ask the brother if he did do it (sexual assualt).. If he denied it, I'd let the matter drop.. You don't want to get into hot water.. (Not an exact quote, but the jist is there)..

Very incriminating to Brooklyn Bethel, and I guess they don't want that to occur again!!!!!

Too bad, my guess is that BIll will have an attorney, media and some witnesses there anyway!!!! And if the elders call off the meeting, and DF because he didn't follow the rules (No tape recordings, no attorney, no witnesses) it won't matter much, because the media will have it all on tape, and the lawyer will be there to warn them that they are violating Bill's civil rights by NOT ALLOWING the lawyer to be present at the meeting!!!!

That would make sense.. Imagine the surprise a JW would have working in say, the NGO department of the UN and finding out that Mother was in bed with them?

This is a throughly cunning inclusion in this letter. If Mr. Bowen arrives with a similar entourage that he did last time, the meeting will not take place but he will be disfellowshipped for 'Loose Conduct', that is, for showing a balatant disrespect for the elders. They will then not need to prove or justify any accusation but will DF him for his conduct at the Judicial Committe. The term sheep led to the slaughter springs to mind.

I agrere conpletely, that is their tactic.. That is why I said Bill should show up with Lawyer, and Media (with tapes rolling); When the elders state that he cannot have his lawyer there, the lawyer can state how his civil rights are being violated, and he has every right to be there..

Then the elders will state that the media cannot attend.. Fine, but make sure the media get's it on tape!!!!!

I don't think they will conduct the meeting with the lawyer present, and it is a no-brainer to think they will DF later for not 'respecting the elders' or the letter...

But, the damage to the WT will already have been done..

Imagine what people will think when they see on National news and in newspapers:

A.) The JC refused to allow Bill to have anyone present at his meeting (Smacks of a coverup)

B.) They refused Bill to record anything (Smacks of a coverup)

C.) Were recorded on tape by the media itself stating the above 2 things (This way, JW's cannot deny it later)...

Even if the JW's themselves get off the hook, and believe it was satanic, or just plain lied to about it, the world will see what the WT really is!!! Their numbers in civilized nations (Who have money to support them) will dwindle rapidly!!!!

I don't see a way that Bill can win (Unless his lawyer has a few tricks up his sleeve, which I'm hoping he does), but Bill can certainly have their actions recorded so no-one can deny that HE wasn't allowed witness or representation!!!!

I think you should bring your lawyer, and alert the media of the event..

Don't tell them about it, and when you show up, they'll have to state that your lawyer or witnesses and recording devices are NOT allowed in this meeting.. (Have it recorded by the media).. Of course, then the lawyer can tell them that you do have the right to representation, and they will refuse the meeting..

They will probably DF after that, since you didn't 'adhere' to their requirements.. But, then you will have documented facts that

A.) Your civil rights were being violated by bringing your lawyer, and them telling you that he was not welcome

B.) The media will have a field day with the fact that they declined the media being there.. That will be all over every national and international news program and news paper from here to Russia!

Gotta love it!!! Just ignore their request, go anyway with your lawyer and media, and have some fun.. !!!! You're gonna be DF'd anyway for non-scriptural reasons.. Might as well expose them..

But, I have a feeling you don't need any advise!!! You seem to be doing quite fine without anyone's help!!!

BRAVO!!! Once again I applaud and admire your fortitude and resolve in protecting the children!!!!!
