It's not masturbating with the porn sites that can get you DF'd - it's "cybering" with another person.

JW Youth- Harshest Rules Ever
by metatron inwitness parents wring their hands, cry in their pillows and mumble.
remarks about satan's influence "in these last days.".
they are told that the world is getting worse and worse.. they are told that temptations are no different than they've ever been.. wrong!

How many do you know like this?
by crownboy ina bethelite brother gave a public talk at our hall a couple weeks ago.
one part of the talk focused on "putting kingdom interest first".
he gave examples of how some gave up material comfort so they could pursue the ministry.

I tried a more sneaky approach a few years ago. Knowing that personal doubts would land me right into the backroom in two seconds flat, I phrased a question I had as one that someone in field service had asked me. I can't remember which question I came up with at the time, but the elders response was that obviously a person who had a question like that didn't really want to learn and I shouldn't waste my time with them.
So I guess I don't really want to learn and I shouldn't waste my time on myself.
Now I save most of my questions for my hubby. Of course, he freaks out, but at least he understands that I do not want to talk to the elders about it. And, I know deep down that when I finally take the plunge my discussions with my husband will also end. Can't talk about spiritual things with an ex-JW, you know.
So if anyone is thinking of bringing this matter up with their elders, I suggest you consider the consquences first. Count the cost, so to speak, and make sure you are ready.

What is the true Religion?
by deadlyskilz init seems to me this site is full of anti jehovah's witness members.its easy to point out weaknesses of others or the organization they represent.jehovah's witnesses do often with other religions.if you all have decided that jehovah's witnesses are bad people or that the organization is false, then which one is the true religion?which religion teaches the correct doctrines?which religion represents gods truth?this question is for anyone.i'm asking this question with sincerity.

Believing that there is one true religion is difficult when there are so many circumstantial ways to find religion:
1) Geographic Location
2) Upbringing
3) Experiences in life
4) Chance encounters with members of other religionsI'm sure there are more that I can't think of right now. But, my point is, if there was one true religion, and Joe Schmo was raised to believe one way his whole life because that is the religion of his region, did he ever really have a chance to find that one true religion? Whereas here's Betty Blossom in the other side of the world who just happened to be raised in the correct religion.
Seems like a very unfair system if that's the case.

Ok, according to WT sources, some people feel that this meant there was a resurrection. But, since this does not fit the WT view of the resurrection, they explain it as a throwing of bodies out of their tombs, such as a 1962 case in Bogota, Colombia, when 200 corpses were thrown out of their tombs by a violent earth tremor.
But, but WT Interlinear Translation translates the verse "(and persons, coming out from among the memorial tombs after his being raised up, entered into the holy city), and they became visible to many people."

That is one huge cause of sorrow - most JWs in their late teens and 20s who have been raised in the organization do not have any of their childhood friends left. It is a lonely feeling to have no one to share memories with.
