Our Blondie Has A Torn Memiscus.

blondie posted her watchtower comments for today and her last paragraph was asking for help, suggestions.

she is in pain from her knee injury, is on steroids and possibly going to have surgery.. she is asking if anyone here, has had the same problem, and if so, what did they do and how was the outcome?.

One years has passed since getting the boot. My story, past, present, and beyond.

so as of today, it is my one year anniversary of being out.

i simplified it so that most people who know nothing of jws can understand.

in addition to writing this as self therapy, i plan to use it to educate others in my life who need to know more about where i come from.

New Rumor - Watchtower and Awake in one magazine only?

hi folks!.

someone told me that there is a rumor that soon the watchtower and awake's magazines will be only one (fusion).. anybody knows something concrete about that, or is only rumor instead?.

To print the magazines off the internet would fit in with the persecution that will come. After all, during previous persecutions, typewriters and copiers were used to reproduce the magazines. This will let individuals use current technology to spread the word "secretly".

Former Long Time Elder - Judicial Committees

when i first was appointed as an elder, i could not wait to be on a judicial committee.

it semed like most hearings invovled middle age men and women cheating on their mates because either they had married early or felt that were being neglected by their mate.

most times i felt i need to take a long hot shower after a hearing.. the toughest part was seeing these sweet young children grow up in "the truth", and now you are about to judge their future based on their repentance.

I also was on judicial committees. I hated those meetings. To sat down with "friends", judge them, and ruin our relationships. At least they were adults and not children. Also I was fortunate to have been in those meetings with reasonable elders and not ones who were power hungry or law and order types. Still those meetings were awful.
