  I ended my college education after 2 years, because I accepted the WTS beliefs. If I finished my college education, I would have been financially better off. I would have had a good retirement.

  Friends of mine who went back to the educational system found that standards often times change. In other words, there goal was to be a school teacher. Because they worked full time and took a couple of courses, it was taking forever to finish college. Also classes they took a few years back suddenly became invalid and they would have to take something different to complete that section of the degree requirements.

  the hunt for alien life just made a pretty big breakthrough.. unfortunately or perhaps fortunately we're not anticipating flying saucers on the white house lawn anytime soon.

  instead, scientists discovered a (relatively) easily-accessible source of hydrogen and water which together make water, one of the most basic ingredients for life on one of jupiter's moons.. there is already lots and lots of evidence for the existence of both liquid and frozen water in other parts of our solar system.

  Interesting information. Unfortunately the budgets of the world, except China, will keep NASA and others from exploring this moon anytime soon.

  Biggest pain in the side of the Governing Body of JWs

  at http://www.anointedjw.org/ a higher eschelon jw mentions that at a meeting of co's with do's it was stated that anointedjw.org website is the biggest pain in the side of the governing body.. do you feel that what's being published at anointedjw.org is having a big effect on the gb and / or on the congregations?.

  if so what is it about their articles there that are opening jw eyes to an awakened state where so many others have tried and failed to awaken jws?.

  what do you foresee could hapen as a result of pressure from anointedjw.org and their articles on the gb's attitude and their reactions?.

  Interesting. Any opposing information that exists is a pain to the WTS. That is why they try their hardest to bring down any site they find threatening.

  NEW BRITAIN BRANCH HYPOCRISY

  a letter from the uk branch is being read out this week - begging for a long list of highly qualified brothers such as engineers, draughtsmen etc.

  to contribute their expertise free of charge in order to get the new britain branch built!.

  the gb vilifies in print and from platforms, higher education!

  It is so sad how the GB denounces higher education, yet they need these higher educated ones to help the org.

  it reminded me of a sister i knew.

  you always knew when you got to the meeting if she had a talk that night.

  When I was in front of the cong I was always nervous. The only exception was the Bible reading. I totally hated demonstrations in front of the cong.

  some nk watchers have counted jang as the no.2 person in the nk leadership line-up.

  the reports were sourced to the south korean intelligence service, so i didn't take too much notice, as a fierce propaganda war rages between the two koreas.

  dead last in math and falling in other categories.. zerohedge announced this morning that the chinese yuan just passed the euro in trade finance globally.

  this puts it as #2, second only to the dollar.. metatron.

  Onthewayout, your thoughts were very interesting. When the USSR, before the breakup, was experiencing financial problems, they pulled back their military. I agree that the U.S. will have to do the same.

  what do you people here on the forum think of the new jw website.

  i find it strange how when i was jw they made a big deal out of the internet saying it was bad.but now they new this new website and they keep promoting on their literature..

  Definitely a one-way web site. They provide the information and can't provide them suggestions. I personally like the web site's design. Some things are hard to find though.

  the only witnesses i see, every once in a while, are the hispanic ones..
