i have a bleeding disorder so it bled for 3 hours.

Gossip, gossip, gossip
by time2keepmoving ineven though i've been disfellowshipped for several months now (looking forward to my 1 year anniversary).
i did have a brother contact me about one of my siblings who is still "in" and ask me personal questions about them.
he also shared with me a lot of personal info about my sibling that i did not know, obviously my relative shared this information with this brother in confident.. i felt like if my relative wanted me to know they would have told me.

It is not hard to argue that Jesus the man existed, without that being evidence that the religion preached on him is false. Muhammad existed, and so did Joseph Smith. But did an angel really talk to them? Was it really an angel that dictated stuff to Joseph Smith and gave him gold plates?
Did the Achaeans ever wage war against Trojans? Sure. Does that mean Achilles was a demi-god?
The message conveyed is that the historical figure existed. But we should not take it to mean anything else.
I expect lots of ink being spent on saying that "even Barth Ehrman says Jesus existed" and oceans of ink spent on denying the rest of what the man says.

Is it too much to ask the "CREATOR" in this technological, scientific age to give us a modern update for his intentions?
by smiddy inis this a fair question to put to jehovah / yahweh or whoever ?
in all sincerity i do not mean any disrespect to any beleivers in the god of the bible, but this is a truly remarkable age with communication advances incomparable with 2000 years ago , if the creator or jesus christ were truly interested in giving everybody the chance of everlasting life , wouldn`t they be giving people the opportunity to hear a more current up to date warning now ?
and not relying on messages in languages that are not in use today and are subject to so many different interpretations ?.

Now that we're talking messages, how come the Lord decided to "cause a book to be written" at a time and age when a) most people were illiterate, meaning most people could not even write, b) most people hadn't even heard a word in Hebrew, Greek or whatever and c) it wasn't easy to write anything.
You'd think that He would solve that problem by deliveriing his message orally, by mouth of prophets! Why can't he send just one, someone by the name Cassandra, for example, and so we can learn the Truth and forget about the rest?
That would have the advantage of bringing many a Muslim into the true faith, I say
. And it would make a hell of a lot more sense than asking less than 7 million guys (in a world of billions) to knock on doors on Saturday or Sunday mornings. It would have the advantage of being reliable, quick, direct... -

Transhuman68: I had never thought of serpents having to crawl only after the curse. You would wonder how "on Earth" they would move if you assume there were not "re-created" in a different shape.
Maybe Black Sheep's cartoon gives us the explanation? A serpent with legs, arms and the thorax and abdomen of a mammal?
