I am wondering why your wife was not jealous. That does indeed seem odd for a woman who normally showed extreme jealousy.
i woke up this morning to a true winter wonderland.
i live between baltimore and washington dc and we are having our first snow storm in a couple of years.
it really is so beautiful and quiet outside.
Snowing here too....we are looking to get about 8 in. It does have a way of quieting everything down. I like the dampening effect on the sound of traffic. On the minus side.....it's a friggin' inconvenience!
karla and i came home for a quick shower and a change of clothes.

we posted a few weeks ago that our mother had been diagnosed with pancreas cancer and was given 6-18 months with chemo.

well here goes...... i was born and raised a jw.
although i never really enjoyed anything about the religion, i trudged along because i was afraind of losing my family, and of course afraid of being destroyed in armageddon.

For me, it's both. I need some space, but I need my friends too. Lately, reducing time involved with the jws has meant a loss of time in social interaction, so I am feeling lately a need to be with people.
Placebo, I'm not sure if this comment helps, but, you mentioned that your boyfriend hates your family. That gives rise to some concern obviously, and maybe part of the problem here is that you are not really happy with this guy.
As far as dfing, goes, is sex worth it? It depends on how one views dfing, the org, etc. I do happen to think there are people who would list things that sex is not worth. For example, there are many, many people who have had their reputations tarnished, gotten diseases, had unwanted pregnancies, etc. - and of course, never had dfing to worry about since they are non-jws.
On the other hand, the desire for sex, as you know, is very powerful and many people do feel that it is worth some risk. It all depends.
well actually it wasnt a meeting, it was my grandma's funeral but it may as well been the 'special talk' for the year with all the bullshit they were spewing.. the 'brother' giving the 'eulogy' (haha..) was an elder from my former congregation, my parents current congregation and to my knowledge (i'm 99% sure) has never met or seen my grandmother before that day.
neither had any of the other jw's that were there 'supporting' my family...well the jw family anyway, the rest of us dont need support since we are df'd.. i hadnt been to a meeting for almost 2 years now and i cant tell you how hard it was sitting through the twisting of scriptures and arrogance know it all attitude coming from the speaker.
my bf and i just looked at each other in disgust while scripture after scripture was read to prove the dead are just dead and their soul is dead and all we have to do is wait till the ressurection if we want to see them again.

i came off rather abrasive to say the least.... i have pissed off a lot of people here, and made an ass out of myself more than a time or two.
