  homeschool, i know i cant control her, i wouldnt want to...but you're right, i think it's uncertainty. Man it doesnt feel good.

  If A Police Officer "Asked" You To Do Something Would You Necessarily Do It?

  if a cop asked you if he could search your vehicle, would you let him?.

  if a cop asked you personal information would you feel obliged to answer him?.

  do you believe that a police officer has the "right" to question you about a matter simply because he's a cop?.

  Ok, here's my problem...

  This weekend is my fiancee's district assembly, and she is attending. I am suppoused to accompany her Sat. and Sun. but i worked today so she is there with her family.

  I have a serious problem with this. She comes from a "spiritually" strong family, who unfortunately still has some control over her. Plus, she has alot of witness friends, she's a popular one. She mentioned to me yesterday that she was going to try and catch up with some of them, and i wasn't fond of the idea.

  I'm not sure if I'm afraid they'll try and talk her into becoming spiritual, or if it's just a slight show of jealousy.

  Anyone understand what i mean? Why am i feeling this way?

  i would think kids would be afraid of him....or is it just me?.

  As my interest wanes............

  all things jw and xjw and even xxjw are beginning to bore me.

  tonight, in an effort to stimulate my interest, i cruised back thru threads of the past month or so.

  while i found a couple topics of mild interest, and a couple more in which i found it worth effort to make personal comment, i was mostly bored.. i have come to grips with my past religious history.

  i bought then got rid of my 'r' movies when i was in because my conscious bothered me after a while.

  then, guess what?

  i bought them again and got rid of them again for the same reason as before.

  My story...(part 1)

  my parents were already witnesses when i was born, therefore i was raised in their version of the truth.

  i was baptized at the age of 11, and became a regular pioneer at the age of 13. i did that for about 5 years, and honestly they werent all bad times.

  a lot of my friends then pioneered too, so we spent a lot of time goofing around out in service.

  Thanks, Hope4Others, we're not in the clear yet...and yes it was allowed. My parents were both pioneering at the time, so they didnt push me, but certainly encouraged it.

  mindmelda, i understand...At times when i visit my folks, i sit there and listen to them talk about meetings and spirituality and all that other nonsense, but i never say word.
