I have always loved Christmas since I got out of the JW religion.....everything was so drab as a JW child so I guess that why I love the tradition and the pretty trees and lights and brightly wrapped presents. The songs and the uplifted spirts of everyone. We all need a time to look forward to each other to do special things for ourselves and others.

i love buying gifts to my friends and family (those who are out) .

I Love Christmas season too, not about the gifts at all though!!! It just seems so cheery and I love rituals and tradition. We surely can't be doing that everyday.

Come on cheer up those who hate Christmas, don't be a Grinch or a Scrooge.........its just not Healthy to not have fun and enjoy sometimes!!

A man I know here in Canada got a hip replacement last year. He went to the airport not long after with his wife and forgot to tell them ahead of time that he had the replacement. The alarms went off. He told them he had a hip replacement with metal.......

This was in Toronto, Ontario Canada airport. The security guy said show me proof. Seriously he was forced to drop his pants right there in front of everyone to show his scar. I kid you Not. Now he lets them know ahead of time BUT he has to go through some elaborate shenanigans everytime he travels to clear security because of it. He travels often.

He had MORE patience than I have, I would be screaming bloody Murder.

I broke my arm a year ago yesterday, they put a plate in my arm. I am wondering if I would have the same problem with airport security. I better check before I fly again. Its getting so you hate to fly anymore, its going to be the death of the Airline business if they don't find a more gentile way of dealing with security. I totally understand why they have to be so careful, but please, deal with us with respect. Unfortunately these crazies keep coming up with New ways to smuggle explosives onto planes so it is a huge dilemma. Last week or the week before a explosion was stopped that could have happened over Canada. Originally from Yeman I think. Explosives in a printer cartridge......now you can't bring a printer cartridge on a plane. Soon you won't be able to bring anything on a plane and will have to undergo a internal exam........seriously its getting crazy.

I feel for you already, though I was not in a situation of communism, still persecution and being a young child in school as a JW affected us all Greatly.

Over and over again this is coming out........Unbelievable how the Rank and File don't see the pattern or turn a blind ey and How By their works you will know them but they refuse to See.

To Know that it isn't the true religion when the shepherds are not there to protect them and only harm the little lambs when no one is looking. This has been going on for YEARs and it is obvious God's Spirit is not with this Religion anymore if it ever was I would be surprised.

My Mom was one of the one's that was in the "truth" for 60 years and she just would not believe that this was possible that the Elders would molest. It was just one bad apple she would say........it happens. When she died 4 years ago I found a video in her house with the W5 show (Canadian) talking about the exposure of several Ontario Elders being caught as molesters.........There was a court case going on just before she died and accusations near where she lived. She still closed her eyes to it and said it is the Truth and Jehovah's blessing was with the WTBTS Arrrrrrgh.

When I was a child in the 60's my Dad was an Elder (Congregation Servant then). We lived in a small town in Ontario Canada. The Congregation in the next town had a Elder who was charged with molesting a girl while he was driving the School bus for the school. My parents were BEST friends with this Elder and his wife. Their Son liked me a lot and wanted to date me later when I was a teenager. My parents didn't doubt for a minute that this Elder was Not guilty...I remember hearing them talk and they said he couldn't do such a thing, he was such a nice man, not possible. He had to step down as elder for "awhile". I don't know what happened with the charges but I suspect it gone blown over. Now I am wondering if he actually was guilty of feeling her UP. He said it was just a misunderstanding.

Funny because that Elders son felt me UP when I was 9. He was 16 and my parents and his parents were in the livingroom having coffee after the Friday night meeting which we did every week. He and I used to go in his room right beside the livingroom and play cards. His room was a big closet with a curtain for a door so I guess our parents thought it was safe. He was a really sweet boy and kind and everyone thought he was just the best boy. Well this boy took my hand and made it stay on his crotch with a bulge in it......I didn't know about sex then so I just pulled away and he kept pulling my hand back to his crotch. Then he put his hand on my crotch and dug in......I slapped his hands away and didn't understand why this fun nice boy was spoiling the fun and being so annoying. This happened a few times and I found it annoying but didn't say anything to anyone because I liked him a lot as a friend and he was fun to play with. Then one night he took me outside (I was still 9) and tried to kiss me......I was disgusted and my parents and his parents came looking for us and though they didn't see what was happening they kept us apart as far as being alone after that. My goodness now that I think of it I might have gotten raped if not for that. When I was 16 he wanted to court me but my parents said I was to young. We used to go in Service together in rural territory and my parents trusted him to be alone with me since he was a ministerial servant by then. He started with the kissing and feeling me up again but that was OK because I was now a teenager. I didn't like him kissing me, he turned me right off as he was not very good looking and his nose was always snotty lol. I liked him a lot as a friend but I rejected his sexual advances. He started dating a girlfriend of mine in the congregation and they married soon after, He now has 5 kids and is a Elder and won't talk to me as I don't love Jehovah.

i just got this email this evening from the cto of my hosting provider: i am writing you in regards to your site www.dirtclod.com.

we have been forwarded a copy of a complaint that was sent to our upstream provider regarding your site and the content which is posted on your site.

it would seem that you are posting copyrighted sections and images which are legal property of watchtower bible and tract society of new york inc. please remove these offending letters and images which are being claimed are used without permission, or provide us a statement which allows you to publish/reproduce this content on your website.

if a disfellowshipped child molester wanted to "go back "

this man is a ex minservant who was disfellowshipped years ago for an affair with his daughters friend (he married the girl eventually ) about 5 years before he was disfellowshipped he was reprooved for child sex abuse and kept in the cong ,then went on to abuse again another jw girl (that didnt get found out about at the time .

) a few years after that he abused my child , a non jw in court he was only sentenced for a few "smaller " charges but got off with a lot of things concerning all 3 victims which he had denied !

all the victims had not seen eachother in years and stories colloberated with eachother !

@Spere - Good Gawd that story is absolutely Unbelievably crazy. I believe it though, and so glad that I am out of that horrible religion now!!!

There is something TERRIBLY wrong with a religion that blames the victim for the crime especially an 8 year old.

I have heard this type of story time after time and I shake my head everytime in absolute horror.

One of the many big examples of this type of Abuse by a JW abusing his children and the elders not listening was the book by Donald D'haene, called Fathers Touch. He was up here in Canada. His Father molested him and his siblings over and over and he could get no help from the Elders, nor the courts and ended up disfellowshipped for trying to get justice for himself and his siblings.

I just heard about this tragedy this morning from CrazyBlondie.........I am so SORRY about your loss.

There are no words I can say that would express how Sad this makes me feel. A young life gone needlessly.
