by Nostromo ingoogle is not my friend anymore, it seems, i cant find a thing.. i was searching for the audio file where john may, the elder from dublin, tells his story when he traveled to brooklyn to find out the truth about the ray franz incident.
i do not mean the talk of his that you can find on 4jehovah.org or 4witness.org, this was a different audio testimony where he just basically tells what happened to him and to his irish elder friend merriman when they wanted to discuss the rf issue with the gb.
i had this file once but cant find it anymore.

Great thread Flipper. I agree with Billy and Hopscotch. I didn't think I'd finish school because it was so drummed into us about the generation and 1975. I still believe in Jehovah, just not in men!! I wish I could find the truth...

Speak Truth
by etna inmy wife got back from the meeting yesterday, and she couldn't believe the topic for the wt study "speak truth with your neighbor".
anyway they were commenting and someone said that its ok to streach the truth if your talking to "wicked" people.
but in paragraph 7 they said that if an elder asks you personal questions you have to cooperate and the truth so they can carry out their assigned duties.

When my daughter got ds (she was 20 and had sex with her fiance and was riddled with guilt and went to the elders instead of me first) 3 elders ranging from 35 - 59 years old, talked and questioned her, the most intimate questions (she wouldn't tell me everything they asked as she was embarrassed). I was fuming and spoke to the elders and said, calmly why was she getting ds as she was showing repentance coming forward, otherwise they wouldn't of known anything. They said I didn't know the whole story. But I did and even showed them from their publications all about repentance, but they were out to get her so they did. Anyway I'm just letting off steam as when I saw that article I couldn't stop thinking of how blind I was for 35years and how hypocritical most of them are..

by wozadummy ini've mentioned before here that in my old congo that there is a pedophile who has been there for some years.
just to re-cap - he was an elder in a congo more south from my old congo for some years and stopped being an elder there for unknown reasons to us when he and his wife moved to our congo when we attended.. in time it came out ,from an elderly pioneer who was close to my wife, that he had been df'd before for adultery or some such.. now in our congregation he got df'd again and because the pioneer sister used to get a lift to meetings from them ,she was told by the pedo's wife that he had been accused of molesting his girls when they were kids.
of course the stupid woman was actually defending her husband to the pioneer - this is her daughters this animal molested!!.

I still get shocked at hearing these stories, even though where I use to go there were many pedo's(I'm in Sydney Australia). I wish this could be expose in the media or something. I'm tired of the pedo's being protected. Please keep us updated.

Unloaded on the husband of my wife's study sister last night, how much damage did I do to myself??
by insearchoftruth inwell had a really good weekend away from home, but i guess i knew that the respite from the wts would end.
tuesdays are the day my wife has her personal bible study with the sister and she has also had the husband come over on tuesday afternoons so the son can have the pleasure of a bible study (which he loathes, he is a high school junior and has no interest in this stuff).
i get home from work late, after a fairly long day and the guy is still there.

you did so well in asking those questions, some other things you might reseach on is how the JWs joined the NGO (a non-govrnmental part of the U N. Also about the organ transplant, if someone got a transplant before they change their veiws (new light) and didn't think it was wrong and got disfellowshipped and then a year later the JWs changed their veiws, would the disfellowshiped person be automatically reinstated or would he have to show repentence(even though by now their policy has changed)? Keep us posted on all your dealings with him. Its interesting

i have not heard a word from them since i wrote this.
i posted this monday night (may 30, 2005) to celebrate my 500th post, but it ended up in the "heated debates" section, when i intended it to go in this area.

Thanks Frank, I've been waitind for this post. Its so true we aren't leaving Jehovah or Jesus and we still believe in the bible, but they have made me so confused, I don't know what will happen in the future!!!!!!!!!! But you have written what alot of us would like to write. Thanks again
