  Achieving Reinstatement and then immediately fading

  over the past 8 months or so three people i have known since childhood have accomplished a goal of reinstatement back into their congregations after many years of being disfellowshipped primarily so that they could gain their jw family members back and do away with the condemnation of onlookers judging those family members and the contact they have had during those years of being disfellowshipped.. all of these newly reinstated ones immediately began a proper fade.

  no meetings, no service, nada.. is this happening everywhere and regularly?.

  My wife got reinstated so she could see her kids and grandkids, and just stopped going. The elder that went after her in her old cong didn't want to reinstate her. When she did get reinstated, I rang him up and let it rip. His son had been going to prostitutes and someone saw him and then he confessed and they only privately reproved him, so I let him have it and said if he ever spoke about or against my wife again he would answer to me. You know, once they have no power over you, you don't realise how liberated you are and how insignificant they are....

  barbara is no longer vp at aawa..nor is she a member of aawa... she will not be discussing aawa on jwn,or on any other forum... barbara has friends at aawa and will help them out when she can... .

  barbara has not given reasons to anybody for resigning... i believe she had too many irons in the fire... she had been expressing for weeks to friends that she was exhausted... from working on another project... everyone concerned will see the fruits of this project in the future... .

  There was a knock at the door....

  or more like a thunking sound really, which set our little dog into a fit of barking.

  i crawled out from behind the fridge where i was doing a repair on the waterline for the icemaker, so i could go see what all the commotion was about.

  i fugured it was going to be my neighbor returning my ladder but instead it was jw's handing out memorial invites.. the woman and the young man (her 20 something son) were people i had known but hadn't seen since we faded 4+ years ago.

  she was in very bad shape when i last spoke with her over a year ago.. "i'll make this short in case it is not functioning.

  after today's watchtower study which was basically a mind controlling article about shunning your loved disfellowshipped ones, i've come to see just how sick, twisted, vile, rotten, repulsive, disgusting, and just plain evil you all are.

  so i stormed out.

  i don't know if i'll ever come back to your meetings again.

  I've got this joke which is quite fuuny.

  Little Johnny would say pray every night and his Dad would listen to it. One day Johnny said bless Mummy, bless Daddy, bless Granma, goodbye grandad. Well the next day grandad dropped dead. The father didn't think too much of it, but listened to Johnny prays again at night and heard him sy blees Mummy, bless Daddy, goodbye Granma. Well Granma dropped dead the next day. The father was so worried and when he got home was so nice to little Johnny, giving him treats and playing with him. At night when he said his prays, little Johhny said bless Mummy, goodbye Daddy. Well he couldn't sleep all night, tossing and turning, when he went to work was so careful, watching every step and checking things 3 times. When he got home, he said to his wife, boy what a shocking day I've had, I've been so stressed and tense all day. And she said, you've had a bad day., the milkman just dropped dead on our front lawn this morning...

  Viv Moritz? Australian experience?

  can anybody here from australia fill me in on this guy?

  i did the search thing and the only thing i could find seemed to imply that he had been shipped off here to poland to avoid problems there.

  i talked to him at a ca in warsaw and he seemed kind of 'off'... it also seemed to me that he had lots of 'handlers'.

  Roski, I can't believe John Wilson and Beverly Wilson have died. I use to be in their cong when I was 5 years old until I was 18. Dave Madzay got df for being a drunk and he use to looka t alot of porn, I don't think he was gay. His wife was very good looking and she left him and got remarried. Viv is a sh-t speaker, the last assembly DC, I attended he gave the main talk and I was so embarressed at how pompous he was in saying that if you are not a wotness you will die at armargeddon. I thought of all new ones there and I was mortified. I haven't been back since. By the way his brother John died a while back.

  A question for those that have been around this board for a long time

  my wife and i stopped going to meetings in 1988 and da'd in 1989. for a few years we both actively participated in the xjw world, she quit doing that a long time ago, and has pretty much completely moved on.

  the other night i told her about my planned blog (which will probably launch this weekend) it will mostly be about my writing, a lot of which is mostly about jw related issues.

  she asked why i am still so drawn to this subject.
