Well, the new picture is in the July 15, 2013 WT. I lack the technical skills to post it here, though.

it's been a while since we heard about their engagement.
did they break it off?
did they get married?.
Would they not show up at a Kingdom Hall, sit together, and maybe (God forbid) hold hands during the service?
Hold hands? You know that's not allowed during a meeting! [Appropriate distance from prospective mate (approx. 8 meters)]

consistently the wtbts has maintained that the 12 tribes mentioned by jesus are the world of mankind outside the 144 000 ruling class.
wt aug.15/ 2009 page 8.. they also quote james 1:1 :--"12 spritual tribes--", of ---"the israel of god" gal.6:16 and maintain that the spiritual israel is made of 12 tribes,.
so do we have 24 wt tribes?
My understanding was that they now teach that those figurative 12 tribes of Israel represent the 'great crowd'. I think maybe there was an article in the 3/15/10 WT (or something, I forget the exact date), 'One Flock, One Shepherd', that discussed that in detail.

overwhelming support for the new light!.
quote from facebook:.
just read 2 of the study articles.
It seems to me that the idea of this was to make the entire discussion as complex as possible. A JW isn't going to bother thinking about what the old belief was and when it was taught unless they're particularly studious. I think even if they go along with it all, they all had to know that only the 'anointed' at HQ had any real power, so this change is really only the natural progression of things for them.
Peculiar though was how they managed to say, even though we haven't been appointed over all the belongings, we're pretty much going to act like we own them anyway, since we know Jesus is going to give them to us. Even though we're supposed to be in the kitchen, we've somehow expanded our authority to like, everywhere else in the household.
Most JWs will just be bored and maybe discuss it briefly after the meeting, how hard all these articles were, but otherwise, it's on to the next WT issue/meeting/field service. The comments to be shared amongst JWs will probably consist of how amazing it is that Jehovah gave the 'slave' the ability to understand all this stuff, and that'll be it.

i'm almost a year out of high school and of course, i'm not in college.
i'm a pioneer (sigh) with little to no work experience and having a really hard time finding any work.
i want to go back to college, but it's going to be difficult now that i'm a pioneer, and my parents cannot really afford the loans that will incur should i pursue going to college.
There are plenty of resources available in terms of financial aid (FAFSA is a good start), but you will have to write a lot of letters/essays and do a lot of searching. How were your grades in school? That'll be a significant factor in being able to qualify for scholarships. I would think that having been out of school for a year might be factored into whether or not some entities will award you anything, but I may be wrong on that.
Better to do the work to find some aid now than to pay later. Were there any subjects in high school that appealed to you? They could give you some insight on what major you should choose. But be sure of what your major will be and stick to it. Changing your mind will only make graduating a lot harder. Best to choose something you're in love with, if possible, because it does require a very intense commitment to tangle with all those courses, even if you're part-time.

ugh.
on one hand i'm glad she's ok. rather sickly.
but once she got word i've been inactive, she's all hot and bothered to get me back to meetings.. "did you attend the memorial this year?".
Was anyone else told this?
They need to tell that to the elders that were on my judicial committee, 'cause they sure seemed to keep asking me if I wanted to come back, for like, 2-3 years so far...

I don't always agree with the Governing Body,
But when I do, it's because I have no choice

2:24 through 5:12 of the following video says they did:.

The Jehovah's Witnesses should not be allowed to forget about this talk!
Funny thing? That very badge is prominently shown in a display case at the Assembly Hall my former cong. goes to! So the truth about it is hiding in plain sight. I mean, when you say things in print, publish them around the world, and then deny that you ever said them, what more can you possibly say? Either you're lying, ignorant, or delusional.

was just browsing this new issue and trying to make head and tail of what they are talking about, and noticed the final article tucked away on-line;.
http://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/w20130715/watchtower-artwork/.
not sure if anyone commented, but it takes me back to the discussions on god's earthly org chart here.. this is what they have to say.... "how many times have you said that to yourself or to others when you opened a new issue of this magazine?
For example, give some thought to why the first illustration of each study article was chosen for that article. What does it portray? How does it relate to the title of the article or to the theme scripture?
So that picture at the start of 'Who Really Is the Faithful Slave?' A Watchtower Study that has, as its first illustration, a picture of a Watchtower...so the Watchtower Study is about The Watchtower? It means that the magazine is portraying itself as the answer to the theme scripture, which is sort of circular reasoning in photographic form. And maaaybe just a little self-worship there, too. I could be wrong.
