I love Christmas!

this will be my third christmas and i love it!!!

i love buying gifts to my friends and family (those who are out) .

and best of all, this year i've got a boyfriend.

Heck yeah!! How awesome I totally know the feeling of experiencing holidays with someone! :) I remember my first time spending Christmas with my husband's family it was alot of fun! I did kinda miss my family though not having the close family get togethers we use to have because that's what it reminded me of. Well sorry about your sister I know exactly how that is considering I have a pioneer sister too who doesn't talk to me but at least she seemed happy bout me being pregnant when I called her... my grandma just blew me off and said I love you dear but we can't talk you know about being a JW, so come back in so I can talk to you. :( Not cool.. she didn't even say congrads! So yeah it's hard I know but over time I feel less and less emotional about it. I'm kinda use to it now and happy for the family I have! :) Oh yes and even more happy I can open up to this whole new experience for me of celebrating holidays freely!!

I already got my In laws gifts and my husband!! I went all out too this year!! lol Hope they like it!

I'm doing it, I'm buying a christmas tree!

i'm so excited, im going out to buy my first christmas tree today!

it will be small, but it will be great.

since im still living separate from my jw hubby, im going to take advantage of the freedom.

Aww How awesome!! We were going to do it this year too! but I think we well wait until next christmas when I have my baby around (born March 2011) and then yeah we will get a tree and everything!!

I'm back! How is everyone today?!

share some news.... i'm pregnant with my first baby boy.

i haven't been going to the meetings very well recently just cause since the baby i hate living a fake life while having the responsibility of being a respectable mother.. my grandmother on my dad's side along with the rest of that side of the family wants nothing to do with me until i am a jw again and i know she still loves me and still thinks of me just has a bad way of showing it because of the shunning rule.. my jw mother and jw grandma on my mom's side are the only ones i will allow to see my baby freely because they know what true love is and still talk to me and treat me normal.. my sister i don't know what to think but i pretend she just lives to far away and has her own life.

Man I miss trying to keep fit! It was such an awesome goal once you got into a good routine. Now I'm just happy I stay on my feet and use the stairs, and park far from the stores. Just walking every day and painting (with a mask sence I'm pregnant) feels like I get a good workout for the day! ha But doctor recomends exercising every day for at least 45 mins and nothing to hardcore like you could if you weren't pregnant! ha Oh and maintaining a good eating habit defently helps! Lean meats and beans, fiber and whole wheat, vegs and fruit! Yogurt, fruit, nuts, etc. are good munchy foods.

I just can't do anymore right now....

i am constantly reading, studying, looking up more stuff on the internet, perusing old threads, keeping up with "new light" on jwn.

i am in the middle of "in search of christian freedom" (having just finished steve's cultmind control book) and i am finding it so argumentive doctrinally that my head is spinning.

i found myself this evening with my laptop next to my desktop (all the better to reference back and forth, m'dear) the wt library cd-rom open to "the modern history of jehovah's witnesses" in twenty four parts, with a plethera of "rainbow" books open for easy reference while i was listening to an old fred franz discourse at dodgers stadium!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I like pirata's comment it was simular to what I was thinking...

Take a break and let it absorb! I too still go through the same thing, we can't let it overwhelm us but process it and learn to understand and find exceptance with proof. And I guess for us the hardest thing is, is there really true accoriate knowledge! We were taught that there was by the Governing body that hid certain things that weren't so... where do we go from there? That's where I am anyways... except for me I'm already out (exJW) and found out after being DFed. I want to make a meaningful life for me and my family before regretably putting effort in something that really was built on self righteous men and lies. Just remember the scriptures we learned! That God forgives, loves when we seek him, and search for him. Just let it be a process of a peace of mind, not overwelming.

Does your Cat want to sit on your Lap while you are on the Toilet .....?

i don't know what it is ...... but it's becoming disconcerting.

he's going to just have to sit outside the door and wait.

i know it will be dissappointing to him , as he purrs like crazy while gathering in the experience.

My cat... well actually my hubbie's cat acts like she does because she gets on the counter that is right next to the toilet and stares at me while I'm peeing making a loud purring sound! God that cat is so innoying and she likes to rub on my legs while i'm sitting on there too. I make sure I have my elbows on my lap so she wont! Maybe it's me being the dog person but this cat is so so so innoying!

I celebrated my birthday today for the first time!

i didn't really have a party or anything, but people at work know that i'm no longer a jw and they got me a birthday cake.

my birthday is not until the 28th, but my co-workers always celebrate anyone's b-day on the 3rd wednesday of every month.

i've been giddy all day over it, though every once in a while, i'll remember how disappointed in me my parents would be.

Awww that's so cool! Yeah I remember celebrating my birthday for the first time! It was last year and the same thing happened to me. People at work got word about my birthday and never having one but wanting to celebrate it and they got me a cake too! :) I was kinda nervious but excited and happy.
