i have seen many jw teens who can't behave properly in the outside world or won't go out alone unless they give detailed report to their families.in addition,they give the impression that they can't be on their own unless dad or mom is near them.correct me if i'm wrong but that's what i think.....

That's the better case. I ofter heard JWs say about such ones, that Satan is helping them to convince them to stay out in the world. You can't win against a cult, anything happens it can be twisted to support their beliefs.
1. sing a duet of the national anthem with your gay life partner.
2. smoke a cigarette after donating blood.
3. join the high school football team and have sex with a cheerleader.
Go to the KH with a phallos on a chain in your neck, and when an elder confronts you about it, say "You have a phallic symbol in your neck, why can't I?" - while pointing to his tie.
Go to the assembly, ignore parking attendants and park where you think best.
Dress up nicely, stand in the entrance of the KH and light a smoke.
When given a magazine, ask "Could I have fries with that?"
or
Live a good life. That will offend many JWs.
have the watchtower society said/printed that witnesses who are medical staff are not allowed to participate in the blood transfusion process?

It's a conscience matter. I can't give you the exact quote, I just read it a couple of hours ago in "In Search of Christian Freedom", there was a WT article referenced too, but I don't have the book with me right now.
a comment to my jw friend on the definition of doctrine and how the wtbts uses the term 'doctrine' pejoratively and mockingly to describe ideas of the people of 'christiandom,' another derogatory word.
can anybody think of other words the jws use to attack people of other persuasions?.
"you have a misunderstood word on 'doctrines' as the bible is full of doctrine written by the men who authored the bible.. see definition of doctrine: a doctrine is a body of teaching and the bible contains a body of teaching.
"Independent" - imagine that, most people think of it as a positive thing.

It's a funny story, but I don't think the other guy was a JW, the blogger only mentioned JWs in connection to how you can't get rid of them by simply saying you don't speak their language.
i have seen who in version italian wt not so as that english...it misses the tower.

Are you talking about the logo thing on page 23? I can't swear on it, but I think my wife's hungarian paper version doesn't have the tower either. But I just checked both the hungarian and the italian WT online (http://www.jw.org/index.html?option=QrYQCsVrGZNT) and they both have the logo.
i was reading the topic on sisters having to sit in the backseat even if it was their car.
made me think of a few rules i was subjected to.
one was we were not allowed to have a radio on.
Having to wear a tie. It should have been my wake-up call, but I refused to open my eyes - on my first ever time I went into FS I went without a tie, it was too hot. So the elder says, I'm sorry, but we can't allow you to go today, we'll do a Bible-study with you instead.
after lurking around here for about a month, i thought it's appropriate to introduce myself to such fine group of people.. i was never a jw.
been married to a baptized mate for over 15 years.
my wife was never technically all in, more of a fader, rarely went to meetings, the occasional memorial, a convention once or twice.

About the purse thing: I'm convinced if you leave your purse anywhere, the vast majority of the persons will leave it alone, or maybe open it to search for an ID to return it. Of course the "worldlies" being in such big numbers, the thieves are more numerous too.
i tied in to the meeting tuesday night and i was blown away that the elder who they had conduct the second school is one who cannot read well at all.
not that i have any room to talk as i cannot spell to save my life, but i know that and i would never put myself in a place to counsel ones about bible reading and such.
in fact i have not applied for jobs and such because i know i have a handicap with my spelling.. i was so blown away that they use this elder like they do.
I once met a dyslexic guy online who was very bright (member of Mensa), yet he had a hard time stringing a coherent sentence. Since then I try not to judgde people on their ability to read/write.
Then again, such a person would probably not be the best candidate to teach others the art of public speech.
