  All JW's have a special shield that protects them from Wicked Spirit attacks.

  To activate the shield: They must yell 'JEHOVAH' at the top of their lungs and then promise not to miss meetings anymore.

  As a sister, you are allowed to translate for the deaf if....you wear a proper head covering like a napkin or Awake (Wt are no longer permitted, its considered disrespectful to the GB)

  I'm starting to believe there may be some real truth to that. With no longer having the usual faith in the Bible I've been very open to different thoughts.

  We have neighbors, Native Americans, who would say it was her spirit coming by to say everything is alright.

  Their daughter had died in Iraq and held a ceremony at their home. We attended. Right as the blessing was being said, a Bald Eagle, (rare in our area) flew over, then swooped down, right over us. The father glanced up and just stared like me and others.

  I asked him several days later what he thought. Without hesitating, he said it was Lori's spirit letting all of us know it's okay.

  The seal? You had to be there. The feeling was very powerful

  minimus had a great thread recently asking if any who were witnesses felt guilt as a jehovah's witness.

  thought i would build on that a little dealing with how you have moved on after being a jehovah's witness ?.

  one definition of guilt in the american heritage dictionary is : " self-reproach for supposed inadequacy or wrongdoing ".

  That is a fascinating experience you shared. You both care about each other and didn't want to hurt each other's feelings. Yet, you were coming to the same conclusions.

  Too bad your friend doesn't understand the law of kindness. That ain't anyway to encourage someone, "you're going to die!", no?

  I Love Small Town Living; the Cops Found My Lost Dog

  so, it was a little after midnight, and i let the dog out for her last potty break of the night.

  when i went to let her in about 5 minutes later i saw that her lead had slipped off the hook.

  now this poor dog has led a hard life.

  Glad for the happy ending!

  The same thing happened with our blind old weiner dog. Only a neighbor some distance away took him in and turned him over to the pound. We were sure the coyotes got him and relieved to hear his bark at the pound.
