Do You Really Trust The Police?
by minimus inin the local paper there are 2 different towns that are dealing with possible police misconduct.
one situation involves thousands of dollars worth of pot stolen from the police locker where the drugs were supposed to be safe.
now the feds and state are involved in finding out who was responsible for the theft.

My daughters boyfriend twice in Aug. coming to see her was pulled over and deported to Mexico. His father had to go to Phx holding and prove he was legal.
My daughter says the cops are predudice, maybe so. But if you saw his car, you would see why he gets the attention. A Suburban, dropped low, with gizmos attached. He really is a nice kid, but might be inviting trouble with his car looks. He had no infractions when they pulled him over.
In both cases, the cops refused to believe him, even though his ID was corrected by the second stop.
We plan as a family to enroll in our local Citizen Police course this fall. He won't join, he's still mad. Hoping to help us get to know them better.

A friend told me in their HUD townehouse, its filled with many JW's and several retired from the CO work. This is a decent location with pretty good design.
No assisted care, but they (WTS) probably are printing some booklet to help with that.

I think the power trip that Ada mentioned is where they need help.
Back to school training for vets and then more evaluation?
When my brother first started he was very predudiced because of poor training by his partner. He thought nothing of being abusive, but changed with more training.
In his dept he said the training is so good now that the old bad stuff was eventually weeded out.

by purplesofa ini just sent off my resume for a job.. i have a pretty good recommendation already .
and know three people that work there.. but these young ones just out of college .
are getting the work now.. .

I feel for everyone needing a job, wanting a job, and having a hard time getting one.
We are a little more fortunate than some. Our work did slow way down, so we decided to live on less and semi-retire early.
Less stress for my wife, she is happier and has more time to ride her horse.

A Smurf walked out of the Kingdom Hall

the "smurfs are demonized" rumors started spreading around.
after a few weeks of hearing that and having to throw away all my smurf toys, i was at the kingdom hall and a sister came in with a bookbag with a big picture of a smurf on it!

If you have left, how would you treat witnesss you run into ?
by lancelink ini da'ed myself back in october 2008.. i also work at a local community college, where the witnesses have a booth set up during the winter months and usually there are 3 -4 people.
just sitting there counting their time.. they are located in a student lounge area where i need to cross several times a day.. my question is this: would you just ignore them totally,.
would you approach them if they made eye contact, or would you just approach them whenever and say hello ?

The story is incredible, no?
But, we laughed about the Smurfs story when on holiday in England and two Elders chastised us for mocking it. "You Americans don't have to deal with Demons like we do!"
Apparently, they have lots of demon problems, more than us?
Can any one from England confirm if this is true? Lots of demon stuff, I mean.
I know one Elder said not to let the demons control us. He meant the fear. Yet, isn't that what the WTS does to people over demon stuff.
They create the fear and then say, and "we are the only ones who can save you".
