a critique of suzi mayhem's theory of god .
i thought, when suzi first posted this, that it was a joke something like john cleese's classic "brontosaurus theory" skit in a monty python episode.
but mr. "dark clouds" has sort of asked me to critique it as if it were a serious theory, so here goes.. i'll address this to suzi, but suzi dear, don't take this too seriously.

hypocritical acts you witnessed being performed by those claiming to be of the anointed are most especially welcome to be posted.. the person who posts the most hypocritical act will receive the complete box set of the bethel family sing the kingdom melodies vols 1 - 10 complete as first prize.. the runner up will receive two box sets.. i'll start off.. the most hypocritical thing i ever witnessed was the (married) co who ran off with the (single) special pioneer immediately after giving a talk at the district convention on "jehovahs gift of marriage".. sister special had the suitcases packed and the motor running out in the parking lot (located directly behind the platform) as co spiritual giant wrapped up his talk.
he finishes the talk then leaves the platform for the getaway car to a tumultuos round of applause from the massive crowd.. both last sighted somewhere slightly up ahead of a fading into the distance cloud of dust.. goo

I know this, because I heard the story from her mother (!).

we had a laugh last weekend at our s.a.dthe visiting speaker was from the london bethel (bcm)during the last talk he was trying to encourage the bros not to read non society lit.
the example he uses was of a m/s bro who used to really study his wtwell for a sunday, however he occasionally used secular sources to back up his research.. our bethel speaker in order to prove how wrong this was explained very quickly that because of this secular research, "this brother fell away and caught aids".
the brothers and sisters in the audience where very shocked at the folly of our ex-brother.

wondered if anyone here knows of anyone having conducted a. freedom of information act search on our favorite religion?.

Even worse than that, AAK. You can be willing to tie up your child and cut him with a knife, and burn the remains as a sacrifice to a deity, just because you hear voices in your head.
If you do that, you are not only rightous, but a hero of faith and goodness reverred by half the planet's population, 3000 years or more after the alleged events took place.

hi everyone, i don't wanna dwell on bad memories, but i just wanna share one of my worst memories from school.. my brother was in the year above me, we had just finished lunch, everyone knew that we were jw's (not going to assemblies, nativity plays,birthday parties, seen in the field service....) we both walked onto the school field together to the whole school already on the field, stood in a line, clapping and shouting "jehovahs witness!!
" at us, it was absolutely dreadful.. kids can be cruel............ anyone else wanna divulge??.
