  i got into one of those extended conversations with relatives i haven't spoken to in ages.

  it was full of things unsaid and careful avoidance of saying too much about the organization.

  lots of nice social hypocrisy, so nobody gets upset in the fairy-tale world of watchtower-ism.. is there any discreet, tactful, inoffensive way to tell them, "the organization is dying"?

  yes, sad to say.

  i found out that he lied to me on two occasions.

  one, that if he didn't get 500 dollars in 1 (then 2, then 3, then he sort of forgot how many weeks it was supposed to be) week the court would force him to drop the case.

One, that if he didn't get 500 dollars in 1 (then 2, then 3, then he sort of forgot how many weeks it was supposed to be) week the court would force him to drop the case. This was a lie. I am sorry to any who sent money as a result of me backing this statement, i took him at his word and I got burned.

  Lie #2, that he signed dismissal papers to drop the case. It turns out that he got me all fired up, misleading me to believe that the case was indeed over and by "signing the papers" he meant that those papers had actually been sent in or filed. Then he sent me an email saying he signed the papers, but they were still on his desk and if I could just help him come up with some more money it might not be over after all. God he must think I am stupid.

  So I have no idea what the truth is, I just know the man is a liar. I am not judging the merit of the case. I just feel I owe an apology to anybody that read my posts here, and I feel a warning is due to anybody before they have dealings with this man, that either he has some kind of mental disability, or perhaps so sad over the loss of his daughter that he doesn't know the difference between truth and lies, or he's just a liar plain and simple. I regret passing on his pleas for money. I'll think twice before I get involved in this kind of case again.

  if body language has any validity to it, this man was deeply discouraged and depressed.

  I wrote this after participating in a discussion on noblood.org. (I invite all exJWs to go on that site and read the forum posts. I promise a vomit - filled afternoon if you do, som bring some anti nausea medication if you go there.) This is a fictional story of course, but it is based on a REAL situation that a JW mother was going through. Her doctor really did say he was going to get a court ordered transfusion if her daughter's blood count wne t below 6. Then she went on noblood.org and conversed with their so-called "experts" like Jan B. Wade, who never even finished high school and has never worked in the medical field yet claims the title of "Medical Health Professional." The a doctor named Malak, his real name, posted and boasted that some children have gone as low as 1.5, where they are put ion a chemically induced coma until blood counts rise. This woman subsequently quit her doctor and moved her child to another hospital that would allow her blood count to plung even lower. No word lastely on whether her child is still alive, but it would be great if a bunch of JWNers logged on to noblood.org and updated us. I eventually got kicked off the forum due to making statements about how safe blood actually is.

  again realize that noblood.org may cause severe vomiting reactions. it is truly the most disgusting site on JW issues. Prep yourself.
