my jw parents refused to eat food from religious restaurant, they have very good reviews.
i was wondering when you were jw, did you go to any religious restaurant?

It's no different than shopping at Hobby Lobby, or eating at Chik-Fi-Lay (sp?). Both are closed on Sundays so employees do not have to work on the Christian sabbath. My JW ex had no problem with doing so.

And how about those demonic Chinese restaurants, with fortune cookies and the Chinese horoscope printed on the place mats?
my wife, a jehovahs witness, buys our daughter valentines and lollipops with a valentines day theme.
she then takes the time to put them together the night before valentines day and sends them with our daughter to school on valentines day.
what would you think of such a jehovahs witness?.

it did for me even though i eventually walked out on my terms and fully convinced of the apostasy of the watchtower pharisees and sanhedrin (governing body).. initially it was very confusing and bewildering since i was a 3rd generation born-in and the watchtower was the only "reality" i'd known for more than 40 years.. a psychologist diagnosed ptsd (post traumatic stress disorder) and recommended attending a cult conference and workshop for victims of psychological manipulation.
i learnt about "triggers" that cause turmoil and upset whilst one is suffering from ptsd.. for nearly 2 years i could not answer a phone without a minor panic attack.
i could only respond to voicemails.

This is correct and is the JW view. BOTR, the JW's believe baptism provides the legitimacy and ordains them. So whatever your views of ministers and ordained may be, in JWland they are ordained.
I have read the same, but I think the OP and BOTR are discussing who is ordained in the eyes of the state--allowed to officiate at a wedding, for example. In that context I'd say elders do perform the role of "ordained ministers", while pioneers are non-ordained missionaries. I'm undecided about MS; that's a close call.

the evils of the watchtower org.have to be exposed and this is an ideal time to do it.. many around the world have been adversely affected by their association with jehovah's witnesses and you can be an instrumental force by standing tall and courageously exposing the watchtower organization.. there is no better way to let the watchtower know your revulsion than to broadcast and present your view by standing fearlessly, demonstrating in front of a kingdom hall.. i am fully aware that a handful of the internet therapists who post on this forum will not agree with this method of unmasking the watchtower.. those intolerant, contemptuous critics who will comment on this thread making harsh judgements and finding fault with those who protest are perhaps deep-down wishing they had the backbone to stop hiding in cyber-space, step away from their computer and "get out of the bleachers and into the game" .

what is the wts going to do if a non df'ed individual is the primary care provided for say an elderly family member or a handicapped child or parent?
many of us are in the position that without our assisting these folks they would have no where to turn.
does not the bible admonish a responsiblity to these loved ones??

The choice of words speaks volumes. They ask for "Loyalty" (to the Watchtower). They say to meet your "Obligation" (the minimum requirement).
"Charity" (doing all you can for those in need) is conspicuously absent.
Condensed version: "Don't do anything that might get us sued. Call the cops. Let them handle it."
it's a little over a year since my daughter was diagnosed with end stage congestive heart failure due to a virus.
her dr. was talking heart transplant then.. i almost lost her 3 times over the past year due to complications.
2011 was a tough year to put it mildly.
