  Quick thought on Nepal Earthquake

  im sure we all can see the devastating pictures on the tv about nepal, and of course witnesses i talk too have all said sign of the time blah blah blah, but the thing that has disturbed me is on the bbc website it has a headline about how to weather is hampering rescue efforts.

  so god not only allows earthquakes to happen but causes to weather to stop people made in his image trying to save 1000s of peoples lives.

  least we forget jesus proved to his apostles he had control of the weather..

  Question for people who believe in Evolution

  though school i did religious education and my teacher who was religious ruled out evolution because humans are the only creatures who do not want to die, can anyone who understands evolution explain this?.

  im 99% on to the theory of evolution, this is just the last stumbling block..

  back in the early 70's, the wt stated that all persons who had lived and died would be resurrected after armageddon.

  only non believers would be killed at armageddon, never to return.

  in short, if you died before the big a, you were guaranteed to return.. this gave rise amongst several ex's to concerns that their well-meaning jw parents might just consider the possibilty of having their offspring "lovingly" bumped off so as to ensure their resurrection!.

  How, exactly, does Watchtower's literature publishing bring them money?

  i've heard is said many times that watchtower is a publishing company bringing in money from the proliferation of its literature.

  how exactly does this process work?

  i know that jws are encouraged to tell the householders of the donation arrangement to support the worldwide work.
