i know while in the org we get told alot to tell everyone that we are jw's, cos its reputation is so good.
but that dosn't explain why people still refuse to answer the doors to them, or hide when they come aknocking.. so how are jw's really viewed by the outside world?.

while in the org we are constantly told that if we just tow the line and behave that will we be blessed and everything we want will come to us.
personaly i havn't found that to be the case in the 30 years i spent trying to tow the line.. but now i've left wonderfull things are starting to happen in my life and i'm so very happy!.
so i wondered, have you encountered more "blessings" or less since leaving?.
the JW idea is that never mind your own talent, hard work and ablities... everything that is good that comes from them, actualy comes from Jehovah. Now does that sound correct to you?
Another idea is that anything bad that happens does not come from Jehovah, it is your fault!
Don't know about you but those two ideas never added up for me...

i can so relate to what your going through. Please remember that your not yet being married is no reflection on you as a person, it is a reflection on everyone who has rejected you and shows what poor taste they have.
Honestly i think it takes a humans till age 30 to actualy mature into the person they wil become. I've alot of young teenagers and 20 somthings in the org rush into marriage before they know themselves, 10 years later they wake up and realise that they are now a different person and not suited at all to their partner.
heres a big hug ((( )))) and please know that you are now amongst freinds who will help, and who truly do care for you.
PS. and the one thing they won't do is fob you off with " wait on jehovah/ new system"

This was from a relative of mine recently, she was crying at the time, so i didn't get all heavy weight. To be honest i fudged answering it, just didn't know what to say. Anyone help?

i realised somthing about sister perfect, you know the type who would perfectly hold her nose above everyone else, and occasionaly condesend to talk to one of us lowly ones, she was so perfect she farted chanel no 5!.
the other thing she would do was those oh so spirtaul answers, the ones with the whole paragraph and watchtower inculded in it.

I like to consider that it was invented by a woman who wasn't afraid to take on a make dominated world, ask questions and break rules...
