  JACKSON FAMILY TO HOST FIRST CHRISTMAS

  michael's sister la toya, says, "we grew up as jehovah's witnesses and so didn't celebrate christmas.

  but i think it's very important that michael's children celebrate it, because that's what he did with them.

  i want them to continue to have that.

  I don't think she would be ignored. They would most likely be more afraid of losing a large number of current JWs if they DIDN'T punish her. MJ was disfellowshipped, for instance (at least at one point)

  i just had an interesting dinner with my parents which ended with them giving me money .

  I just had an interesting dinner with my parents which ended with them giving me money . But during the actual lunch, the topic of Michael Jackson came up, and an old family friend said the old JW standby "Well, this is the only way he would've gotten into the New World, so its good he died". This led me to think of an interesting question I wanted to present here...

  GIVEN (and yes, I know these are faulty assumptions):

  1. The JW religion is "The Truth"

  2. Michael Jackson is a child molester.

  3. Said child molestation results from a mental illness related to MJ's upbringing.

  4. Michael Jackson will be resurrected.

  4. In the New World, physical ailments, including mental disorders, are cured.

  Here's my question... By curing MJ (or a fictional character who this might also apply to), wouldn't that change who he was as a person through divine intervention, thereby robbing him of his God-given right to free will? If a psychopath WANTED to be a psycopath, yet wanted it because they had something physically wrong with their brain, would it be robbing them of their free will to heal that illness?

  Anyway, just a thought...

  hey i just got a email from a brother i used to know.

  bit of an odd ball he was, used to spend conversations with the sisters stareing openly at their chests!

  he would also catch you at the assembly and then follow you around everywhere!.

  LoL. I'm not going to lie... I see a bit of myself in that story. (definitely NOT the bit about the staring at the sisters, though...)

  The Society™ doesn't really teach people to interact well with other people...

  Aren't they always ready? I've heard that stuff too... Whats the small shovel for? Burrying the bodies?
  
  I will say some of that stuff is a good idea... Like the First Aid Kit in the car. I keep one and they are really useful...

  i've been trying to read threads on the "best of" section here on jwn all morning and all the threads get bumped to "google-analytics" within 2 seconds of clicking on them.. .

  can anyone else get access to them, or is it just me?.

  I'm having the same issues... It seems to be related to Firefox. You can switch to Internet Explorer () or try hitting stop after it loads the text and before it goes to the google analytics page. Simon probably needs to fix it in the long run, though...
